Prep & Play Preschool & Dcc

We’ve had a truly wonderful experience with Prep and Play. The entire staff is friendly and dedicated and have made my daughter feel cared for and excited about learning. My daughter has learned so much this year. The curriculum has exceeded my expectations and I feel my daughter is prepared for elementary school. I’m deeply grateful to everyone at Prep and Play for the time, care, and effort they’ve poured into my child.

Both of my sons have been going to this wonderful place for around 3 years now and I couldn’t be happier with the structure and staff that Prep and Play provides. The staff there are simply some of the best people I’ve met and I wouldn’t have wanted my boys to have gone to any other daycare. As a bonus they provide a set of curriculum that in my opinion prepared both of my boys for elementary school more than I had hoped. Thank you to everyone at Prep and Play for investing so much time and effort into my sons which often times were above and beyond what was expected.

I have nothing but great things to say about Prep & Play. I had my first child there from 2006 to 2009 and was extremely happy with the staff and the center as a whole. I sent my 2nd kid just recently for the last 3 years (2018-2020) and again, after 9 years, had the same great experience. Tammy and her staff are extremely professional and care for these kids like they are part of their own family. Even during this crazy COVID time their first and main concern was the safety and well being for the kids. They had a rock solid course in place and it worked great! Anyone looking for a great center that will care for your kids like you would as a parent, this is it!

This is an amazing place! I have sent both my children to Prep and Play. Each staff member is caring and attentive. The ladies provide a quality experience and my children feel loved. I highly recommend Prep and Play to any family looking for a safe, clean, engaging, and nurturing environment for their child!

Over the course of around 6 years, Prep & Play has really shown itself to be a cut above the rest. After looking at multiple centers to take care of my 2 boys, I walked into Prep & Play and met Ms. Niki. From the beginning, she was polite and welcoming to me. We set up a time to tour the center and was immediately impressed with how well the school was run. The teachers kept to their schedules and made sure that instruction was on time. I could genuinely see that they cared for the children that many parents have left with them. The kids time was filled with learning and playing. Summers were filled with water days and various activities to keep the little minds going. The school year was filled with formal instruction on letters, numbers and many activities around those topics as well as other instruction. On a personal note, I am not a fan of glitter, but my kids did enjoy bringing me glitter filled activities and I could see that Ms. Niki thouroughly enjoyed sending them home to me. (she knew i disliked glitter) :) I can assure you that you will not find a better place in St. Mary's county or anywhere in the tri-county area that is as dedicated to your kids and their learning. They do this with love and compassion and are flexible. Nothing has given me more satisfaction in knowing that this place cares. If you are thinking of sending your kids here, I would highly recommend it. This center has changed my kids lives for the better and there is nothing that they wouldn't do to make sure that the kids under their care are loved beyond measure. This is what makes a center worth sending your kids to.
