We love this PATC! We have been here for 3 years. Both of my kids love going to school and are thriving. Teachers are amazing and new front desk staff and admin are fabulous. Communication is great and the teachers are so sweet and really know the kids. We had the chance to move to a place closer to home, but our kids are doing so well and learning so much, we stayed.
We have seen a HUGE positive change in PATC since Stephanie took over as director! Admin has worked with parents consistently to listen to our concerns/suggestions. They've received the criticism in an admirable way. The changes to security, communication, and meals are amazing. Teachers are happier which in turn makes for a better classroom environment for our kiddos. My daughter WANTS to go to school, and her and my 6 month old come home happy and well taken care of. Thank you to the teachers and staff for taking care of our babies!
For any readers: The reviews from about a year ago to 11 months ago are raving about a Director who was again short lived & no longer with PATC. Also, the teachers individually listed have all left (Ms. Mandy, Ms. Kym, Ms. Emily, Ms. Rashmi). I also had a 5 star review during that time & am updating it. We started here 5 years ago, before Northstar Preschools purchased PATC. Here's some light on the Directors they've had from parents who have compared notes: Previous owner (1995-Summer 2021 at which time NS comes in the picture) Previous AD moves to Director & quickly resigns under NS (~4 months). Then come the NS hires: 1. T****** - January 2022 for two weeks 2. S******** - January 2022 - July 2022 3. K**** - July 2022 - July 2023 4. E*** - July 2023 - October 2023 5. S********: October 2023 - April 2024 6. Q**** - May 2024-October 2024 7. M**** - October 2024 - February 2025 8. R** - February 2025 - April 2025 9. K*** - May 2025 - July 2025 We kept our oldest here due to the strong bonds she had formed with the other kiddos & families, & the fact that some of the BEST teachers had remained resilient during all of that turnover under NS. Now, the tenured teachers have left in mass (cannot blame them, & most expressed that they cannot take any more under NS & cried saying goodbye to the parents). There is no consistency. There are blatant lies from NS leadership communicated to parents to pacify them. It is unacceptable & a total shame. They've had issues maintaining staff, so much so that Kinder kids have had accidents on the playground because there are not enough adults on staff to allow for bathroom breaks of children in emergencies without going out of ratio. Before sending your child here, look up their deficiency history that is public on TX DHHS website. It's unacceptable. I compared all NS Texas schools v. the peers in the metroplex & it is a NS issue. Period. Our last week there is next week & the ONLY thing that's causing any sort of sadness is leaving behind Ms. Dee, Ms. Sophalie, & Ms. Paola & the other families (most of whom are also leaving next week). The other teachers -- haven't been around long enough for me to form a connection, let alone any of the kids. Unless there is change at the Regional Director & upper management, who knows if any of the wonderful teachers will stick around. I would recommend A Mother's Love, Trophy Lakes Academy, Premier Christian Academy (unaffiliated) over here.
We love Premier Academy and so do our kids Ms. Kym and Ms. Mandy in the infant room are fabulous. They answer all our questions and keep us constantly updated with our baby who started when he was 4months old. They even give our toddler a hug before she heads off to her 2 year class for a fun day full of different activities. So glad we joined Premier when we moved into the area!!
The facility is always maintained at a high standard. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. They give detailed reports on your child's activities through the day that's comprehensive so you can follow through at home. The meals offered are healthy. The structure and scheduling is thoughtfully planned out. Pick ups and drop offs are never crowded even during the busiest times. There isn't a single complaint I've had about the care received by this daycare. It is Christian based with chapel times, but for those not following that path I'd simply say, "Your children aren't being exposed to any dogmatic curriculum and at their age they don't view it with the same weight as teens and adults. Having the Christian background establishes a good strict morality for administration and staff. I'm not Christian myself, but I find no harm in the exposure my children are receiving."
