Precious People Daycare

My daughter has been attending the daycare for about 2 years and we absolutely love it! The staff has always been so polite and friendly. I’ve always felt safe dropping her off for the day, I know she’s in good hands. She has been in the infant and toddler room and both lead teachers are amazing! The daycare is also fairly priced and were flexible with the days my child could attend as she is only part time. I would highly recommend.

We reached out to Precious People Daycare via email in July about an opening for our child. Anita responded within the hour my email was sent. Anita was very informative when we toured the daycare, she took the time explain the enrollment process and answered questions I had. Since starting with Precious People in September, communication has been daily helping our child into his first daycare experience. All staff interactions have been great - they really want to make our childs experience pleasant. I feel at ease when dropping our child for the day and look forward to feedback, beyond what is already shared through the day. The outside play area is a plus for me, lots of room our son to play and engage with new friends 😊

Enrolling your children in daycare is not an easy decision but when you feel comfortable with the daycare it makes a huge difference. With that being said when my husband and I were “shopping” around for childcare we heard nothing but positive things about Anita’s daycare and we loved the fact it felt like a mom and pa family daycare . Our boys have been going there for the past two years and I have nothing but positive things to say about Anita and her staff . Sam, Sandy ,Carissa and Emma are absolutely fantastic , our youngest son started daycare right at 3 months . It was a hard adjustment for myself but Sam made me feel so comfortable and confident in her abilities to care for our son. Our oldest son was 1 1/2 years old when we was enrolled, the staff made him feel comfortable durning his transition and got him out of his shell . Both of my boys truly look forward to going to “school” as we call it . We love getting daily updates on the app that tells about their days along with pictures , all the cute crafts they do and hearing the boys talk about their “teachers” and friends is beyond heartwarming. We have never had any issues and I am extremely picky who I trust with my children. I am beyond happy Anita is not advertising her daycare like a chain daycare , I don’t want my children to be seen as money signs . This daycare is Alden’s best kept secret and truly cares about your children.

: Deeply Concerned – Please Read Before Enrolling Your Child at Precious People’s Daycare in Alden I had a deeply upsetting experience at Precious People’s Daycare that I feel obligated to share in hopes of protecting other children and families. Only a few weeks after enrolling my children, I personally witnessed a staff member scream at an infant, aggressively rip a pacifier out of a child’s mouth, and yell at my son. I immediately stepped in and told the staff member their behavior was completely unacceptable and inappropriate.I brought this to the attention of the director via email, as she wasn’t on site at the time. Rather than investigating the situation or asking for clarification, she terminated our contract, stating my children were no longer welcome at the daycare. As if they would ever go back. I reported the incident to the state licensing authority, as what I witnessed constituted verbal, emotional, and physical abuse. The day after the state investigated, the director attempted to retaliate by claiming my daughter’s behavior was "out of control" — something that has never been said about her in years of attending other daycares without issue. It felt like a clear effort to discredit our family and shift blame. This daycare raises many red flags: -No website or transparent contact information -No platform to leave or read reviews -Staff members who are not properly trained or supervised If you're considering this daycare, I urge you to ask questions, demand transparency, and trust your gut. I share this not out of anger, but out of duty to protect other families. Please be cautious. Advocate for your children. Speak up when something doesn't feel right. I was in shock but what I personally seen I can only imagine what happens behind close doors **please look at the states website website I am not the only parent who raised concerns*** all of these comments after my review are from friends of the owner . Do your own research . There was not one review prior to mine .

our little guy has been with Anita and the gals since he was 6 weeks old , he is now 18 months old and is so smart , ready to take on potty training , even though Silas is not to have a binkie cuz we want him to be a big kid in the big kids rooom they have been very lenient with working with us since nap time without it can get really hard we have had no issues with transparency as we are updated Dailey as to everything he does from the time I drop him off untill pick up , every morning he's so happy to see his girls and every pick up he's playing having fun, the girls here are Family!!! they love these kids like no one else! Being a first time daycare experience mom with my last baby this wasnt easy to send him but I'm more than pleased with our choice ! This is our small town village not everyone has a village but these girls are our family's
