I decided to pull my son out of Precious Ones on Friday after finding my son laying on the floor during nap time with a small blue seat cushion under his head next to a garbage can. He had been telling me this for months (he's 5 years old) but I wasn't sure. Well I snapped this picture on Friday during a pop up visit. My trust has been completely broken. Will not be going back.
My two children attended Precious One’s for 4 years collectively, both starting at 1 years old. Mrs. Vicky and her staff were always very open and vocal about the child’s needs and development areas. They treated my children like they were their own. I have the greatest of confidence that they ensured that my children were loved, learned and grew as individuals. Are they perfect...no(is any daycare perfect?), but I trust that my children are better for having been here.
Love this place and the staff because they are very serious about the care they provide for the children. They are truly experts when it comes to early child development. My children entered Kindergarten reading on a third grade level. I have recognized that some parents just want babysitters to continue to spoil their children like they have been, but if you want your child in a structured environment where you will see them learn and grow this is the place for you. They will be very truthful about your child's behavior, which makes me feel like they have partnered with my wife and I to raise our children with our values. I would highly recommend them to parents who are serious about the success of their children when it is time for them to enter school. The events they have for the children are always well planned and organized. If you are really serious about giving your child a head start this is the place for you!
TERRIBLE business. I was eager about putting my daughter in this day care because it’s black owned and conducive for my commute to work. The OWNER Victoria Blakemore has a very bad disposition, she’s unprofessional and not interested in the children. You are not allowed to do pop up visits, there are no cameras and the staff is not very friendly. My daughter attended for three days and each day I picked her up I was rudely approached by the owner about my daughter being an “arm baby” when she’s only 2 months old (basically her calling her SPOILED). Upon my initial meeting with the OWNER she appeared nice but that quickly changed. When she talked to me, I felt as if I were in a confrontation on the street because her body language is offensive and she speaks using her hands. I arrived with my daughter in tote and she turned us around. I asked for my money back since we both agreed that it wasn’t a good fit for my daughter she refused to give me back any portion of my money. Now I’m stuck with having to quickly find another center before my soon return to work and also having to pay New registration fees. If you’re looking for a center look elsewhere because she is money hungry and she has approval for guaranteed payment for my daughter until October. She’s rude and very unapologetic about it. So again, don’t be fooled by her smile she’s only out for money and feeling a space. She has no compassion or regards for the kids.
I absolutely love this daycare, my son loves them as well. Ms. Victoria is a very sweet person and they taught my son alot.
