They hit kids and talk to them very poorly. But they do change n feed kids. It is very prioritized. Every single child always gets checked. They have very Terrible ghetto kids there also who like to bully other smaller kids. They try to keep them all separated by age group tho. But sometimes lil kids sneak away into the older kid group area and teachers won't notice. I definitely wouldn't let my child be there anymore. They will also feed your child (if on formula or breast milk) the opposite of what you give them and they leave their bottles out all day and still feed it to them! Seriously!! Not the place for children especially babies!
From my experience with them, since school started in August, both my prek4 girl and I are happy with their care and facility. I have not once had any issues with any of the staff. My girl is happy to go every day and she loves her teachers. All of their policies and procedures are as it should be. They (both teachers and administrative staff) will work with you and your child if any especial issues that you or child might have. From my experience, they all are loving and caring staff members. Very affordable as well. Most of the other daycares I consulted and visited were much higher priced and their facilities or staff did not seem worth it. My prek3 even goes as a drop in during holidays only and she looooves going and misses them so much that every so often she asks me if she can go to daycare after school with her sister too. They go to different schools by the way. They're in different rooms when at daycare, so she is not wanting to go to spend time with her sister, but because she likes the environment. Some people might have had a bad day with them maybe, but I haven't had anything but good experiences with them. I haven't even experienced once seeing another parent having any issues with them either.
My kids love coming to Poppy's ... My son is 4 and started since he was 3. He was not fully potty trained but in less than 2 weeks he got it down. My baby is 18momths and she loves being here. Her teachers are sweet nice and kid friendly. She is always playing and smiling. Both my children love it and i know they are happy... Staff is always so helpful im always relax at work knowing my kids are im good hands.
My nieces have been going there for a few years since it is so close to their home and one of them come home five days ago saying her teacher pinched her. She has a big bruise. Their father went in the next day to confront the daycare and the teacher was not there. Someone said she came out positive for COVID-19. The staff did nothing about my niece being pinched by a grown woman.
HORRIBLE!! ESPECIALLY THE ONE ON GILETTE!! THE STAFF ON GILETTE ARE NO GOOD AND MEAN TO THE KIDS. CAUGHT ONE STAFF SHOVING A SANDWICH AT A CRYING CHILD'S CHEST SO THE CHILD COULD BE QUIET. Worst daycare my kids have ever gone to.
