My 1 year old son has been going here for a couple months now and I love the program and his teachers are very nice and work great with the babies. It has been so helpful because I couldn't afford daycare

My son started his first year of daycare 2019 here and it was a nightmare. My son was having health issues that caused me to see many specialist that I communicated with PMS. The director used to complain he was too loud (he was thought to be partially deaf), it was a issue "he complained" (his ears hurt him as they were filled with fluid), he was tired and made me pick him up ten minutes after I'd drop him off regularly. Then she penalized me that I wasn't meeting attendance despite her being the one that would send him home. She wouldn't allow his speech therapist in the school for sessions to the point that the therapist reached out to me with their concerns about the directors demeanor. Her only compromise was he could have therapy during his recess on the playground. The therapist said it made my son sad because everyone else got their only play time for the day and it made it feel to my son like he was being punished. My son began to show displays of being entirely miserable attending school. He'd cry as he climbed up my body and beg me not to keep him there for the day. His own teacher told me how terrible the Director was treating my son. That she too was unhappy and looking for different opportunities and recommended I do the same. The director purposely put my son in the wrong age class then tried to tell me he aged out and the closest daycare they could offer me was in Española, even though we lived and worked in Santa Fe. My sister also worked at this location 10 years prior and when I brought this up to her she stated that the director was a miserable wench then too that turned it into a high school. A majority of the staff act like mean girls and spend a majority of their time at the front gossiping. They aren't there for the kids and it shows.
