I LOVE this cozy adorable place, they give me peace of mind. I went to at least 6 different daycares in the area when I moved to Citrus County. I remember feeling like I was about to have to settle because I couldn't put off work any longer and then I found this place. None of the others were as clean, freshly painted & personable as this one. The owner Mrs Karen is kind, funny and keeps it real. IE When I messaged in the one on one chat that my daughter 'kept dumping sandy sneakers out in my car so please help', they responded apologizing and letting me know it would be taken care of. It hasn't happened since & to me shows that they listen & execute, not always true of preschools or any school really. The teachers there are the real deal; nurturing, sweet voiced & ready to run after your little one. Mrs Alicia & Mrs Mileigh are the best at getting my moody princess to come in with a smile. They send you pictures of the kids' activities in the app they use for communication & they message you there if anything comes up. We've been there about a year and I'm not going anywhere. PSR for the win!
Karen the owner and most of the teachers I believe are great with kids, truly. I will say upon enrolling my daughters in any daycare or schools I usually like to have fun and ask the teachers questions one being "Do you like kids?" Megan; one of the main teachers there gave a less than convincing answer with an awkward smile and laugh saying "sure". Made me think, why are you doing this then? One day I come early to pick my daughter up and the male owner Kevin was there in the room with the kids and upon walking in a little bit more I found my daughter using the bathroom with the door wide open, completely exposed. The next day I mentioned it to Megan and found out being Kevin's daughter she immediately was very rude, & defensive instead of just understanding my comfort of asking when my daughter goes to the bathroom to have the door closed especially when parents or volunteers of any sort are there. Just sharing my experience. Good luck with the record store Megan, maybe that's more for you & you'll be happier there.
I don’t even know where to start. My daughter has been going to Playcare since she was 18m old (She’s now 6) and within the first few days I knew we were here to stay as long as Karen would allow. My son started the day after he turned one. (Now 4). This is a family owned business but I like to call our 2nd home. Karen and her family, Kevin and Megan have all poured their hearts and souls into raising and caring for my children. They all put the kids first and it shows! I wholeheartedly trust them with everything I have and I’m very picky about who cares for my kids. Karen is also particular about her teachers, we have really been blessed with them as well. When I got a job in Tampa I would drive an extra hour just to take them here. We live 30 mins away but I didn’t care, Playcare is a one of a kind place and the absolute best place to take your kids. With my daughter they noticed she was more advanced and they would push her more to make sure she kept on advancing. My son doesn’t like change and was a handful 2/3years old. They really worked with him and as a team we worked threw the terrible 2/3s and now he is an awesome kid. I am so blessed to have had Playcare in my children’s life threw the most critical years. They are so caring and loving. This place is never been a daycare for us. It’s just been an extension of family. I cannot recommend this place enough for the most important people in your life. This still doesn’t even scratch the surface of good things I have to say about Playcare. Much love.
My daughter has attended playcare for almost 3 years. From the moment I first called Miss Karen I knew that this was going to be a special place for my daughter. In my experience I have not previously and could not have found a more caring and well run early educational facility for children than Playcare. In her three years there my daughter has flourished and bounded confidently into kindergarten. She now catches the bus to and from before and after school care and often asks me to let her stay longer as she loves the staff and the environment there. Playcare and specifically the Brabble family represent the best of Inverness as an institution and a family. Thank you for being there for us when we need you most. Cheers
I have been blessed to have them help in the caring,teaching, and raising of my boys. They have wonderful and caring staff. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I appreciate everything you ever did for my kids. I highly recommend them. My boys are good kids because of them. I am truly grateful 🙏.
