What Parents Say
These reviews do not pertain to the daycare center PLAYA Head Start in Guayanilla. Instead, they describe Playa Punta Ventana, a natural beach/hiking destination in the same area. The reviews praise the natural scenery and hiking trails but warn of challenging conditions and lack of state monitoring.
Hiked here from Lluveras trail in Guánica. We stoped at the cave on the way. We had previously tried to get here from the Meseta trail a few times and never made it because of the extreme heat. It’s still long and hot hike from Lluveras, but the trail is not as exposed as Meseta. The trail was mostly overgrown but not terrible. 6ish miles round trip. Bring a lot of water, hat, and sunscreen or protective clothing. The Lluveras trail is not as scenic as Meseta but the views at the end are obviously worth it. Wear good closed toed shoes or hiking boots preferably. Didn’t see a single soul on the trail.
Wild and natural, great for hiking. Careful, not monitored by state. You are on your own. Hidrate.
Playa Punta Ventana you don’t have to pay to go in!
It’s fenced off and there are armed guards there. He gave me the option to take the hour long walk in but I declined. I didn’t see anymore sugar cane either as was there when I was a child, it looks like mango trees.
