Pinnacle Kids Academy has been an incredible place for my daughter from the very beginning. She first started here as a toddler, and now she’s in their after-school program—and I couldn’t be happier with the care and support both my children have received throughout each stage. The teachers have always been patient, nurturing, and genuinely invested in her growth. They helped her build confidence, learn routines, and develop strong social skills when she was little, and now they continue to support her academically and emotionally in the after-school program. The communication has always been excellent, the environment is clean and welcoming, and the staff truly makes her feel safe and cared for. Watching her grow over the years with the help of this amazing team has meant so much. I’m extremely grateful for the consistency, compassion, and quality Pinnacle Kids Academy provides. Highly recommend
I would recommend this daycare to my family members and friends . Since both of my girls have been coming here Giohanny and Janette have gone above and beyond with their customer service and with making sure my kids are taken care of with all the teachers they have been with since they started coming here when they were infants. They are so good my newborn son even comes here as well . I love that they have a daily curriculum and the day planned out for my kids and all the teachers that my girls have come in contact with they love them as well . Great daycare and great teachers! 😊😊
I would like to first start off and say that my kids have been going here since 2021. A few years ago I thought this daycare was great. The kids were learning, they had fun. The teachers were great. As my son got older (he’s 3) and developed his personality, we learned he is definitely an overactive kid. He has a lot of energy and he does get frustrated quickly. However, the daycare use to work with him and redirect and his teachers understood. I also understand as a mother too. But the last 2 years the daycare has been unorganized and the turnover with teachers has been high. You can look the business up on the health and services website and they have turned over 25 teachers in 2024 alone. This year my kids have transitioned to 4 different classrooms and have not had a consistent teacher in the classroom. They are hiring quickly and with less training. Because the teachers are getting less training then they do not have the ability to work with kids who might need extra attention, they just call the parents to come pick up their kids from work. My sister in law watched my kids for a week while I was away on a business trip and she said every time she dropped the kids off, the staff at the front just bitched about parents and kids. Keep in mind this is her first impression of the daycare because she has never picked or dropped my kids off before. My kids were never in their actual classrooms and they stopped learning because all this daycare is, is just employees hired to babysit not teach or guide the kids. When picking up my kids the classrooms would be chaotic and everyone would just run around and do whatever they want. How can you expect kids to behave and learn if you do not provide a structured learning experience for them?…. My husband and I recently enrolled my kids into a different daycare and we pay less and get more of a structured learning environment for my son. This daycare that we chose has less turnover and prioritizes the kids first. I was in awe about how much pinnacle wasn’t offering for the kids because of what we saw from touring 1 daycare. The standards at pinnacle are low. Just a bunch of babysitters. The director needs to take classes on leadership so she can be a better leader for her team and then she can start rebuilding a functional culture for both her staff and the kids. She would have less turnover and a lot more consistency if she learned how to maintain her staff. I always know when a business is doing poorly when I start seeing signs around the business about tuition discount if you refer a friend. The student count is low and they do not utilize all their classrooms because of it. I am a frustrated parent that was paying $500 a week for a shitty daycare…..god always works out a plan and this experience has worked out for the best because now we have a better daycare for my son. I would like to say that at first I wasn’t going to fill out a review because I take accountability for my child and his behavior but after 1 week of us being in a new facility, people need to know that if you care about where your kid is going and what they are doing then do not pick this daycare they have internal issues they need to resolve first so they can learn how to properly deal with all kids not just the kids that behave all the time but the kids that have a lot of energy too. So if your kid has autism or adhd or just an active kid then do not choose this daycare, they are not trained nor do they care about your child. I recommend reading the following books to help this business Good to great-it’s about building effective teams and surrounding yourself with leaders… 1 minute manager- it’s about having effective conversations with your team so the feel confident in the decisions they make everyday Unreasonable hospitality- it’s about how to keep your customer. Parents are customers because we are paying you. Mindset- how to manage different mindsets and win people over. Building a positive team
My daughter was here for two years and my son did both summer camp and after school care here. Overall we loved it! The only reason we left was because the elementary school offered after school care on campus. We had many great teachers, some not as great, but the administration works hard at having quality staff. Sure there is turnover and sometimes it's hard to know what room your child is going to be in that day, but my daughter was well taken care of and loved. My son enjoyed the older kid programming and I felt safe with him being picked up from school. I would recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a safe and loving environment for their children. It's nice to know we can drop-in childcare in the future too, should the kids have off school.
We feel it’s our duty to warn all parents that Pinnacle hires teachers who aren’t fit to care for children. Yesterday my husband walked in on Ashlie Romero mistreating our 2 year old son. She slammed our son into a chair causing his arms to swing up and his head back. She then pushed his chair into the table aggressively and got in his face and yelled at him. He now has scratches and bruises on his back from the observed assault which was also captured on video. There is an open investigation and we are pressing charges. We removed our son from this daycare immediately and we hope Ashlie is fired or we fear more kids will be mistreated. I told this to the director when I picked up my son’s belongings today and she just said “thanks for the feedback mom”. In addition, the daycare is unorganized and not run well. The drop off room is chaotic and the level of communication is poor. We are now making a much further drive to his previous daycare where he is loved and cared for properly and the drive is worth it!
