What Parents Say
Pilgrim Day Care Center receives highly polarized reviews. Parents whose children attend praise the caring staff, developmental growth, communication, and meals provided. However, prospective parents report concerning experiences including rude phone staff, alleged safety concerns due to high child-to-teacher ratios, and state violations.
My baby Zoï has been at Pilgrim since she was 6 months old. My family and I love this daycare. Zoï has grown and learned so much here. My baby comes home and talks about how “much fun she had painting” or talks about playing with her classmates—-she is only 2!!! Her vocabulary and comprehension skills has grown exponentially! You can tell the teachers care for the children. They are fed breakfast, lunch and snack! My child loves coming here. When we pick her up, she always has a smile on her face. Teachers are very communicative in regards to your child’s behavior/milestones/experience throughout the day. We love Pilgrim daycare!
My #daughter attends Pilgrim now, and I love and so does she. The director is really transparent about her work history. The older ladies that work their are very attentive to the needs of the kids, and they the parents comfortable with the services they provide.
LOVE this daycare! My daughter has been going here since she was 6 weeks old, she is now 3. Unfortunately she has to move to a new daycare because of location which I'm very sad about. All in all my experience has been great here and my daughter is loved by each and everyone of the staff, thank you!!<3
I was looking into enrolling my baby here, called and the woman was not warm or welcoming at all. Then I looked at the Texas State Department and saw their violations… very scary and I won’t be enrolling here.
Do not bring your child to this daycare. Too many kids and not enough teachers so i was concerned for my childs safety. I asked the director questions she couldn't even answer them. I walk into the building and all I hear is screaming And yelling at the kids. It's terrible.
