What Parents Say
Members praise the YMCA's clean facilities, friendly and professional staff, and community atmosphere. The water classes, particularly instructor Leanne's Wednesday sessions, receive special recognition. However, one member reported significant issues with hot water availability and pool temperature that triggered a health crisis.
I love coming to my water classes in the mornings but I especially love Leanne at 10:15 on Wednesdays! She's fabulous!!!!ππ She's knowledgeable, happy, friendly and just pure joy for the full hour! I hope she gets to teach more water classes someday at our YMCA. She is a π gem!!!!
This YMCA is wonderful! The facility is clean & the people are friendly. They did some very nice upgrades. The employees are always respectful & helpful. Update! With a membership, you are offered services for which the member pays. It's a disservice when all the member benefits are not given. Due to health issues swimming is imperative to my weightloss. In saying that, showering afterwards is also imperative. However, the hot water hasn't been working since last week. I asked the man at the front desk about the water this morning, "notices were sent out about the hot water"... I didn't receive a notice! I didn't find a notice on the website. This is what should've been said with sincerity to ease the frustration of members " I apologize for the inconvenience, we are working on getting the problem fixed"!!! Be honest about the situation! I appreciate honesty! I have Lupus Dry eye syndrome, etc...Showering is very important! Update The pool was very cold today! I have Raynauds, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Asthma & Chronic Spasms. I had trouble breathing while in the pool. I had chest pains. I thought it was spasms. I could do a little exercise, but i had to stop multiple times, which i dont usually fo. I became very sick & had to leave. I became very dizzy by time I got to the Women's locker room, I vomited twice. My breathing became worse when I got home. I used my inhaler & the chest pain went away. I could also breathe better. I was having an Asthma attack!!! I've never had an actual asthma attack before, never. My Lupus has been very active. The pool is my only comfort. The only place where I can exercise for a long while & it usually helps my nausea. However, not today!
The staff at this location are wonderful. The members are very kind. Beautiful experience. Wish the world was more like the YMCA. My kids never wanna leave.
dont believe the fake reviews this place is horrible and has terrible management who donβt care about its members. sauna does not work and they refuse to fix it. its been months. do better
Just started as a senior and I absolutely love it here. The classes are great and teachers are very professional. Shout out to the front staff, clean and well maintained. All employees are very friendly and willing to help with any issues or questions I may have.β€οΈπΈπ
