Great church, beautiful architecture, comfortable pews, but they need more parking for events. Cars will be spilling into the street, but the sanctuary is maybe 3/4 full.
This church has been a part of my family for years. It's beautiful inside and out, as well as the parishioners who go there. Pastor Serena is a wonderful pastor, she doesn't preach at you, she tells a story, she tells the story of God. Her voice is so soothing and comforting. She also has a beautiful singing voice. She's able to capture your attention and hold it for the entire service. Pastor Serena makes you feel welcome and care for. I highly recommend St. Marks Lutheran Church.
Friendly loving people, from the office staff to the parishioners to the clergy. Extremely family oriented. Outstanding activities for kids including teens. What a great example of how people should treat each other. June Music Camp is amazing.
St. Mark's Church is a very Friendly Church. The Services are highly Liturgical and Structured. It follows the Christian Liturgical Calendar. Many opportunities for all ages to Worship and to Fellowship. Music Program is Wonderful. Very nice facilities. ⚘
This is my home church from birth & the BEST in the entire Upr Perk Valley! Very friendly folks who genuinely care about their members & are very inviting to occasional newcomers & new members. A variety of ways to get/be involved in the life of this church (Sun Sch, choir, bell choir, church council, WELCA, Altar Guild, sewing group, kitchen committee & other church committees, etc.).
