Came here for a Saturday date! Such a cool place but we honestly missed our kids seeing so many families lol. It is a museum for ALL ages. Both of us learned things we never knew! Lots of hands on and immersive portions of the museum. Beautifully designed and put together. We started from the top and worked our way down (4 floors). They do have a cafe with lots of food options but we did not eat there. Weekends are obviously very busy, I know they have members perks and things of that nature. We were on a staycation but this would definitely be a place we’d revisit. They do have their own paid parking across the street. Highly recommend buying tickets online (skipped the line and walked in right away) but they do have a ticket desk.
This was one of the most fun days my niece, my son, and I have ever had. They had an absolute blast and we spent about five hours taking our time, enjoying each floor and all the fun interactive activities throughout the museum. I loved that we could really explore without feeling rushed and even enjoy food I brought from home. Every staff member we interacted with had a great attitude and was genuinely helpful, which made the experience even better. We will definitely be back.
Really fun museum that covers a lot of ground with everything from archeology, geology, space, energy, engineering, and sports. Lots of interactivity within the various exhibits as well, great for the younger crowd. The main attraction are the dinosaur fossils; a lot of them from the Texas area. The architecture of the building is also great. The dinosaur overlooking one of the escalators was really well done. If possible, try to see the museum on a non field trip day. The museum was pretty chaotic and overcrowded, which made it really tough to fully see some of the exhibits.
Really neat museum! Loved the space, dinosaur, and gem areas. Lots of items to interact throughout the building. It’s easy to spend 2-3 hours depending how much you read and interact with the displays. This place is packed with discovery and fun - check it out!
The kind of museum, thinking, global, and acting local. From the architecture to the smallest exhibits, this venue is very well done. It’s a great space for all ages and will blow one’s mind considering all the wonders of nature in the science that humankind has created through it. Parking is easy in Apple. There are stairs, but additional options for access. The pricing is very fair. Bring the family or take a romantic date. There is a small café, offering some nourishment.
