My children have been here for two years. My son will be there 3 years before transitioning to kindergarten. My daughter was completely prepared for kindergarten. They are pleasant and patient. The rooms are always clean. They communicate well. The keep control of the classrooms well. I know my kids are well cared for at Pennies Place.
Both my son and my daughter have been going to Pennie's place child care for the past four years and my wife and i could not be happier with the care they have received there. Every staff member there does their job in a very caring and professional way. Both of our children loved the time that they spent in Miss Rita's class, and my wife and i found both Miss Rita and Miss Brittany who works with her to be very caring and capable with the children, and extremely helpful and responsive to the needs of the parents.
A woman threatened to quit if my child wasn't kicked out. My son is 3 with a learning disability and has had a hard time. However, when I switched his care to another facility his behavior improved almost immediately. So maybe it had alot to do with how he was responding to the way he was treated? They also have minors working with no BLS certification.
We had a good time until my daughter moved up to the 2 year old class (Toddler) Mrs. Rita is the worst teacher she screams at the kids and wont doubt if she do other stuff, after my daughter moved to her class, my daughter became aggressive, and learning behaviours that didn't match our character. Every time we would tell her let's go see mrs.rita she would cry till this day. It was a good place once upon a time.... the owner is no where to be found and don't really take her business that serious.
Honestly, if I could give this place a 10, I would! January 2019 to September 2022 I trusted this place with my daughter. My daughter even trusted when I left. That was never an issue. Which as a mother it really put my mind at ease. There’s never not an issue with anything in life. And let me tell you when there was ever one coming from me the owner immediately handled the situation. To the staff who have been there from start to finish for my child’s time there I thank you! & to the young ones who came and went I thank you. We are all always learning. Don’t forget that. THANK YOU ALL so much from the bottom of my heart. I really see it as you guys helped me raise my kid in a way ♥️
