Penacook Community Center Child Care Program is a multi-purpose facility that serves families with daycare, exercise classes, and other community programs. I came to get a library card and check out the collection there. I haven't used any of the other services or activities held in the same building. The library portion has limited hours and not a lot of selection to choose from. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful, it took about 10 minutes to get my library card / account set up. All I needed was a drivers license showing my address. I got my card immediately and was able to use it about an hour later to set up free accounts on Libby and Hoopla to borrow ebooks and audiobooks for free. (Which is why I really wanted the library card in the first place.) They might do inter-library media transfers, if you can't make it to the main Concord branch, I'm not really sure. They had a small selection of books, CDs, DVDs, and audiobooks on CD when I was there.
If you truly want your kids to be safe, and cared for ...please do NOT bring them here!!!!
The community center focuses on the whole family. Day care. Exercise classes. Check our Zumba.
