Peace Lutheran Prekindergarten

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Peace Lutheran School!! It is an amazing school, the best staff and a great community to be a part of. I LOVE the preschool program. All three of my young children— 2.5, 4 and 5 year-old— currently go to Peace. The teaching staff is incredible, providing an engaging, interactive and informative curriculum to each child. They go above and beyond, ensuring each child feels love and guidance as they begin their school journey. We have been a part of Peace Lutheran for 3 years now and each year I feel so fulfilled in my choice of this preschool. I’m SO beyond happy my kids are part of this school and community. The preschool is well organized by the most sincere director who is passionate and caring. You feel it cascade down into her wonderful teaching staff. My four-year-old son is a young 4 and sometimes has mornings where he cries and doesn’t want to leave Mom. The teachers are all so supportive and truly care. They always greet him with smiles, hugs and high fives. He quickly feels right at home and has such a fun learning day, he doesn’t want to leave. I highly recommend Peace Lutheran School, especially the preschool program to everyone. It has been such a great experience with the best director, teachers and staff. It is a wonderful community and feels like an extension of family. The entire staff sincerely cares about the enrichment and growth within each child’s education, needs and development!

My experience at this school was absolutely miserable. The teacher for my son's class always looked crosseyed at me and she would get really upset at me for trivial things like I was being late. My son is 4 and not even required to be in school. I am a struggling single parent with no car because I can't afford it and I am ridiculed because sometimes I can't get a ride or was late because I have to depend on uber and my son's teacher continued to look down on me. This teacher accused my son of being autistic and not being normal when he's just a normal 4 year old boy trying to interact with his classmates as best as he can. After all the ridicule and judgement passed upon me from his teacher I had to stop bringing him there temporarily because of a medical procedure, a bronchoscopy I had to endure and it was extremely difficult to carry a car seat around. The day after the bronchoscopy CPS knocked on my door telling me I was accused of child neglect when my son is taken care of perfectly with love and affection and help from my mom who I live with and works during the day so she can't help me get him to school. CPS told me that the school had mentioned that he came to school in dirty clothing. My son wears the most expensive brands and his clothes are always clean! My son's teacher would get mad if he would use the bathroom in his pull up and I told her from before he was even enrolled that he's not fully potty trained yet and some kids take longer than others! She should be fried for calling CPS on someone for false pretenses and that takes perfectly good care of her son. I have photos of my son at school before and after and his clothes are perfectly clean! If my son had such dirty clothes then why didn't they call the day it "happened" or take photos? They waited two weeks to call of him not being in his 4 year old classes after I told the teacher I was having medical issues. Please do not allow your children to attend this school.

Wonderful school! Excellent education! Wonderful Church! Supportive principal Teachers are skilled, consistent in providing an excellent education!
