I called in for information about ESL placement test at 3.03 PM on Tuesday December 13 / 2022 on the phone number that end with (973)-***-5582! It was the old women who picked up the call. Did not give me any useful information and end the conversation “ okay ? Bye! “ How professional the staff at this college handle! No longer want to continue to to study with the college.
All of the professors I have experienced were extremely outstanding, hardworking people who truly care about their students and the state of people. They strive to create outreach programs for students such as, The Men's Initiative and have powerful speakers and leaders who are always available to help. Programs such as EOF and the honors society Phi Theta Kappa, are great to join if you feel a bit lost and need some guidance and fun. Great opportunities to excell and lots of scholarship offers. You have to be involved and talk with your professors in order to be successful. They have so much to offer. Go to this community college and don't waste your time here. Keep GPA about 3.5 and above and you will get accepted and transfer over to your next choice. Stay on top of deadlines. You can do it! Be a doctor. Why not !
I personally am okay with this School. Employees there (in the Financial Department, Academic Advisors) are somewhat mediocre. It's as if they just started working there. Overall, what saved my experience while attending that school, were the professors. I was extremely blessed to have received great ones. Professor Masri, Amanda in particular. It would be better off if they allowed students to reenroll while simultaneously paying off any debt owed. They don't let you do it unless it's all paid off which blows.
You should only attend this college, if you have no other choice. The ONLY thing it has going for it is affordability. Many of the staff, professors included, have forgotten that this is a Community College. Meaning, it is supposed to Serve the community. Many of the tenured full time professors are lunatics, and most of the adjuncts are junk. There are a handful of wonderful professors, but not enough to make it worth attending. Do yourself, or your child a BIG favor and stay away.
I am a proud graduate of Passaic County Community College. I graduated in May 2017 with an Associate of Arts in English. My professors were so supportive and many of them actually work in the fields they teach. I had great advisors who helped make my experience richer and meaningful. The faculty and staff really work diligently to ensure the students are receiving a quality education at an affordable cost.
