I have come back to edit this review several times over the years, mostly for positive reasons. Unfortunately this time it is not the case, and I hate the way that we are ending our run with this school. Parker Chase was good to us for a lot of years if I am being honest. My son was with them from the time he was 3 until he turned 8. We never had any issues with his teachers prior to last year. I still hold a lot of respect for the directors, Julie and Kristi. However many people have stepped down, new people have been hired and unfortunately our child was involved in several incidents that I believe never would have happened if the kids were being directly supervised by the staff members who were in charge. My son was left unsupervised on several occasions which took several months to come to light. I was hoping that swift action would be taken, and these employees removed from their positions due to their negligence, but as I last checked two days ago they are both still employed there and working in the same classroom. If you wish to enroll your kids here, I believe the center does have the potential to turn things around. But the two individuals who are in charge of the school aged students, Jack and Jordan, need to have their employment status terminated and the remaining employees need to be better trained on how to supervise children because the impact that has been made on my child as well as the others involved can never be undone.
We are very impressed with Parker Chase. Unfortunately my son has had his two other preschools close in this last year, which lead us to PC. I truly feel it was a blessing in disguise because our son’s attitude towards school has changed drastically, he actually wants to go to school. He talks about how much he loves his new school & tells me every day the things he’s learned. Within a few weeks of attending, he’s recognizing his letters & numbers and doing simple addition. Ms. Coco is hands down a unicorn (amazing, one of a kind) preschool teacher. We absolutely love her!!! PC was also accommodating with allowing us to do “school day” hours instead of full time, which works best for our family. They are great with communication and post photos of activity often. We finally feel good about dropping our son off.
Our son was at Parker Chase for a shorter time than we expected due to an unexpected move. We were so grateful for our son’s time at Parker Chase! The facility is so welcoming. Their playground layout is amazing and the kids get a lot of outside time. There’s also a lot of parent involvement. The teachers were very sweet and patient with our son.
Warm and inviting environment. Employees consider all the children to be their students. Employees support one another to accomplish group experiences for 2 or more classes. Wonderful children’s garden and mudkitchen that are truly for the children. Weekly themes are fun and engaging. Parent communication is stellar.
Parker Chase is one the most wonderful places for children to be. My daughter was going to after school care here last year, and this year she begged to go back in summer. She repeatedly asks not to pick her up before 6pm so she can stay as long as she can. Ms Julie and her team are doing wonders keeping children engaged, interested and learning while creating tight community and family atmosphere for parents and everyone involved.
