First time taking the 6:30 p.m. mobility class with Lucie and it was an amazing but challenging experience. I enjoyed being around the other ladies, nice flow of music and Lucie did an excellent job explaining and demonstrating the movements. Very nice vibe. ❤️ I'm a baby boomer, under a lot of stress and I drive all day. Didn't realize how tight my body was until I started the mobility movements. 😱😭 It was an eye opening experience but I felt much better after the class. Highly recommend this class and instructor Lucie💯💪
Outstanding summer camps! The care, coordination, fun and kiddos involvement in learning and activities is superb. Huge thanks!
Felt compelled to share this experience as a mother in this community. Last Friday my 6 year old son was attending Camp at “Camp WannaLottaFun”. 20minutes before the end of the day I get a call from one of the Counsler saying my son was pushed into the brick wall in the gym by another kid “unprompted”. She noted my son was upset and crying - she didn’t know why the other child did this but she let the other parent know. But didn’t have anymore details she could share. Come to find out after picking up my son, and hearing from him what happened- my son was sitting with some other kids in the gym when this boy came other and hit him on the head with a book then pushed a stuffed animal on his face which pushed his head into the brick wall behind him. He has a bruise on his forehead and a bump on the back of his head. I asked that an incident report be sent over to me and for anymore clarification on the situation. My two requests were both denied. This situation raises many red flags for me. I will say with other camps throughout the summer my son has had a possible experience. But the response from the Park District has been extremely cold and disappointing. Just wanted to share my son and my experience.
Great programs offered here. Especially love the Learn to Swim lessons. Well-run facilities, small class sizes and results. My kids are learning to swim! Wonderful preschool and nature programs, too.
I love the facility but the kids’ group swim classes are just terrible. The classes are completely overcrowded and not only is t hard for kids to learn, it’s hard for the instructors to teach. Also, the swim manager was not reliable in getting back to me when I was trying to set up private classes for my kids. We have been here for a few years now. I’ve had enough. We are moving elsewhere.
