All my kids went to this daycare, and I couldn’t be more grateful. They learned so much and were always excited to go every day. My 7-year-old is thriving in school now because of the strong foundation he got here. Mrs. Mason and Ms. Iris, who taught my 4- and 7-year-olds, are truly wonderful teachers who care deeply about their students.” Tamani Mom!
All of my kids have been to this daycare and I have nothing negative to say. They are nice people and really care about the kids. My favorite teachers are Mrs. Mason and Ms Alasia who I would personally hire as a nanny if I could. Ms. Cynthia, Mrs. Mary and Ms. Michelle are always there with a smile on their face. They are very kind any time I’ve had any issues they have fixed it right away.
My granddaughter suffered from seperation anxiety and always found it difficult to let me go but this group of women embraced her and her little brother and now they cant wait to go. MS. Cynthia and Ms. Michelle made their transition into daycare very easy. They took the time the kids needed and now I couldn't imagine them going anywhere else. Ms. Retha..Ms. Mary..Ms. Iris and everyone there works very hard to make sure the kids are well taken care of. During the summer they have great field trips planned and special activities for all age groups. I highly recommend this daycare with all my heart.
Went to this place as a child and it was just terrible. At the age of 9 I begged to be taken out and thankfully I was. The staff was rude, behind parents backs and just to the children. Would never go back, due to the “trauma” that came from this place.
If I could give Park Avenue Daycare zero stars, I absolutely would. This has been the most unprofessional, money-hungry, and downright disturbing childcare experience I’ve ever had. I enrolled my child here hoping for a safe, nurturing environment, but what I witnessed was the exact opposite. Let’s start with the director Ms. Walter’s-completely rude, dismissive, and, frankly, a liar. She says one thing to your face and does another behind your back. She pretends to be warm and welcoming during the tour, but once your child is enrolled, the attitude changes immediately. Questions are met with condescension, concerns are brushed off, and any attempt to advocate for your child is met with hostility. She seems more interested in defending herself and protecting the daycare’s reputation than actually addressing real issues. Now onto the owner—who’s nowhere to be found. You’d expect an owner to be involved, at least somewhat concerned about the children’s wellbeing or how the business is being run, but not here. It’s as if the place runs on autopilot with no oversight. That might be fine if the staff were competent and caring, but sadly, many of them are undertrained, overwhelmed, or just plain indifferent. What really pushed me over the edge is how money-hungry this daycare is. They’ll nickel-and-dime you at every turn, adding extra charges with vague explanations or completely unreasonable policies. Late fees are slapped on instantly, regardless of circumstance, and any attempt to discuss billing issues is met with attitude. It’s like they see parents as ATMs, not families trusting them with their children. Even worse, I witnessed children being treated unfairly—ignored when upset, spoken to harshly, and sometimes left unattended or redirected with no real care. There’s a serious lack of empathy and patience from some of the staff. Basic needs like diaper changes or feedings often seemed rushed or delayed. I also noticed they are quick to label children as “difficult” rather than trying to understand or support their individual needs. Communication is poor, unless it’s about payment. Then they’ll text, email, and call you non-stop. But try to get a real update about your child’s day? Good luck. You’ll get vague responses or a generic “They were fine.” Nothing about progress, concerns, or behavior unless it’s something negative they want to hold against your child. Please, for the sake of your child’s safety and your own peace of mind, look elsewhere. Don’t be fooled by the clean appearance or fake smiles during your initial visit. This place is all about image and income—not about kids.
