What Parents Say
This YMCA child development center receives consistently high ratings with parents praising its welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere and well-maintained facilities. Parents highlight the quality of staff, diverse amenities including pools and fitness classes, and affordable pricing. One concern noted relates to class schedules and facility hours not always accommodating working parents' needs.
(Daycare)2 year olds expected to act like 5 year olds in a large class size of 20 with two teachers. Current director was disrespectful to parents. Teachers seemed to mean well, but overwhelmed due to large ratio or inexperience. Unable to effectively teach spirited children. Very poor experience from what we believed to be a solid company. In contrast, the infant teacher was great! Older lady who absolutely loves the babies.
Been coming here for a few weeks now and this place is awesome. It has everything you could need in a smaller scale. The building is literally a part of history, but the inside is so nice. I love the atmosphere as well, everyone is super nice and inviting and you never feel out of place. I’m shy, and it’s hard to try new things, but walking into the fitness classes people are welcoming and the instructors go out of their way to make sure everyone is doing well during class and meeting their goals. I never feel awkward or as if people in the room with you are making everything a competition or judging you like the vibe you get at bigger gyms. You can completely be yourself!! It’s very family oriented as well. Lots of children and teens having fun too! The pools are great, love the fitness classes, and the lower level has women’s and men’s locker rooms equipped with everything. The sauna is great, and I love the full counter with blow dryers, and the showers are very convenient and clean. For like $27 dollars a month (I’m 25 - young adult rate) it’s so worth it in my opinion. The hours are great as well. Very thankful I found this place!
Get rid of the cats, its a question of public health in a public place. If you get inspected, they will shut you down just for keeping animals in there. Cleanliness could be somewhat improved too. Fix the roof who is leaking trough out the building, the suspended track could be structurally unsound and repair/change the equipment that need maintenance or is old. All of this is a question of budgeting and management...
First thing that jumps out to me is the hours. I can immediately tell, because of my job, there's no way i can make it there before y'all close everyday. But three stars because i have no idea where else to find an indoor pool in paris.
It’s a great place to work out and the classes are great however it would be great if the classes and hours worked more around a working persons schedule. Open earlier in the mornings, later weeekend hours, and more late classes.
