Kids attended pal in the fall, co - director of program tacked on registration fees and $80/ per child worth of " refusal to fundraise" fees, two months after kids started going, and demanded payment without any notice ( had a prior history with the program where director knew of my financial hardships), and kids were not to return until I payed. I did not send my children to pal until I had funds to pay. Co-director cashed the $300 check and then sent certified letter denying my children access to before school care. To any and all parents having financial difficulties DO NOT use this program. The co- director is completley miserable and nasty. If you don't apply for aid through the state, even though you know you won't get approved ( because you have tried before in the past) She denies you access to financial assistance through the program. There needs to be other options for single parents that need to work ( and go to school) so that there children can get to school safe. This co - director only cares about money. The most unempathetic person I have ever met. The one star rating is actually a negative one. :)
