What Parents Say
Pahrump Community Church Preschool is consistently praised as a welcoming, family-oriented religious facility with Scripture-based teaching and well-organized programming. Parents appreciate the quality of pastoral leadership, contemporary worship, active ministry programs including Awana and Sunday school classes, and the warm, inclusive community atmosphere. The facility maintains safety standards with multiple adults per room and serves multiple age groups from infants thr
The pastor reads from the Bible and has everyone opening their Bible's to follow along. There is a point after worship songs that the pastor calls up all the little kids (Pre-K -8th graders) and has a 5-10min question and answer small Bible story time. They are then dismissed to go to their respective Sunday school classes. The church as a whole has 2 worship services 8am and 10:45am. They also have a whole church Bible study at 9:30am and the children have their own study with their teachers at that time. The church offers care for babies all the way up through college for students. They also always have at least 2 adults in every room. If you have small children they give you a coaster sized disk that will vibrate if you are needed and you will need this to also pick up your child. There is also a specific prayer group on Sunday night at 6pm to pray over all the churches requests and any you would like to add.
Welcome to the church that has given me the fear of attending any other church! If you like misogyny and don’t like asking questions, this is the place for you! I attended this church through my high school and college years—youth group, Sunday school, and the regular service every week. I never felt more out of place or more judged. I was denied the right to pray for my youth group peers because I am a female, and I was berated by the youth pastor in front of a large group of people. Any question I asked was met with no answer, distain, and the threat of being a “non-believer.” Church services include long monologues of a couple verses that are discussed for months—an effort to make the audience feel the pastors are far more superior and intelligent than they actually are. If I could give this church 0 stars I would.
There is absolutely nothing like Pahrump Community Church. This place is hands down the most ministry-oriented, family-focused church I’ve attended in a very long time. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the genuine love and dedication to God’s work. PCC has a wonderful Awana program that gives kids a focus on discipleship and memory of God’s word, and PCC is one of the only churches I know that actually provide Sunday school classes for both ADULTS and children between services. What I appreciate most is the church’s commitment to sound theology. The sermons are entirely Scripture-based and deeply rooted in the Bible, the truth of God’s Word clearly preached every week. After years of searching and heartache trying to find a solid, biblical church family, I am so incredibly grateful that God led me here. The people are warm, welcoming, and truly live out their faith. Pahrump Community Church is not just a place to attend but a family to be a part of.
No complaints! The service was well organized, the bulletin showed a very active church, music was well done, and Pastor Caleb did an impressive job of speaking on sensitive issues for the "Youth Sunday" that I went to. I hold to a somewhat different theology which means I wouldn't be joining the church. But I can appreciate worship quality, if that's the word, which is among the best I've seen. Yes, I'll be back.
The people are so welcoming, make you feel right at home. The music is contemporary, though easy to sing along. Next year we are planning on being in the area for six weeks, we will definitely attend this church while in town.
