Paster Ed has a great way of making things understandable and relatable. People have tried to greet and speak with me but I'm adhd with tourettes so I try to avoid being too social as I'm not good with carrying conversations. I wish that wasn't so. But I digressed. Is a great church.
Stars? I snuck in and sat where I used to sit last Sunday: I didn't see Eve, I didn't see Kelley and I barely saw myself. I love this church, I really do and I apologize for not being emotionally mature enough to approach leadership when it might have made a difference. Feeling like I am one of the original kids from the Costa Mesa movement all those years ago affords me a special spot on the telephone wire. All the popular "mega-church" campuses are waning. It's not the buildings fault either. I would love to help but honestly, after having done relatively nothing while feeling like I gave it all I had, what's left? I'b he happy to come sweep the parking lot. I mean that in the most sincere and loving way, metaphorically AND literally. I did find out one of my students from long ago, a student I loved and taught is now a ballerina and that warmed my soul. Michael was going to be a pastor and Alex was my little discerner that wanted his dad to do better. I miss it so much and I love you all.
Teaching God's Word through many ministries and excellent pastors,teachers and staff! The Packinghouse Church also has a very welcoming and comfortable feeling and those that attend are very nice people and family friendly! They have an excellent teen and young people ministry at the Packinghouse Church if you have kids or teens! Recently started going here this year with my 4 children. Absolutely love it and feel welcomed. My kids just attended their VBS this year and won’t stop talking about going back! Wednesday night service is more my speed. Even attended Sunday 11am service and LOVED IT
Sadly, on a day when the pastor should have shown respect for Charlie Kirk, he hummed, he haaaad, told the congregation to tone down the rhetoric. We need leadership in our church. I wonder if we are attending the right church?
