Pace Head Start - West Boulevard

I really do not understand this program , I thought the would help parents with daycare but they make it so hard for busy parents. So much documentation, so much process. They literally put to my Daugther to the waitlist ( after being enroll ) because we didn’t have a note from the doctor that she is able to come back to school , but no one told me I needed it , just when she got back school, how I gonna get the letter from the doctor same day ? Teacher are nice , I love my daughter’s teachers but the office personal make everything so difficult. So if you are a busy parent that is looking for daycare to GO WORk this don’t work for you. Mostly moms are SHM … they do parents reunions weekdays at 9 am … people do not work or what ? We are low income family who works hard and we do not get calwork or calfresh or any other benefits besides helth insurance
