Ozark Guidance Center INC. Therapeutic Day Treatment

I went here as a child, had an awful therapist who only made problems worse, and then lied to have me locked up in their mental ward for an additional two months after my 10 month stay. The lockdown side of the complex injected me with chemicals every time I got angry, locking me in a brick room and metal door. I felt very mistreated there. Its now 20 years later and I still have extreme reactions to remembering what they did to me in this place. The non-lockdown part, was relatively fine, bad therapist though who came into the class room and touched every male kid on the shoulders constantly was really annoying. Good thing they had ONE therapist there that actually got me and helped me which helped me get out of the place once and for all. I hope she found a better place to work that doesn't mistreat their patients.

I have gone to Ozark Guidance for about 10 years now I started going to the one in Bentonville and I give them a 3 to 4 stars because they have been very patient with me and trying to get a good therapist and a good psychiatrist and they have everything is excellent. I don’t know what I would do without them.

This has been the worst place I have ever and I do mean ever gone to they lie about your child and when they get to ever transition back to their school they start lying to schools and stuff and to your parents and all kinds of things saying that you've done bad so that you don't get to go back so they can start making more money and it takes a very very very very very very very very very very very long time to actually transition the building is falling apart and I do not think it would pass any kind of safety check I do not recommend anyone going here they need to go out of business the people they hire are there just because they have nowhere else to work and they treat everyone like crap and the therapist their help you occasionally but sometimes make it worse

if you have any choice do not use this clinic. I came here of my own volition seeking HELP, only to be treated like dirt, lied about & put in a situation that was my worst nightmare, that thankfully I was able to get out of very quickly, because it was baseless & a bald face lie. the receptionist staff is AMAZING & that’s where the good care stops. If you need genuine help, this isn’t the place for it. They’ll change your therapists multiple times a year with no warning, there’s a doctor on staff here who should not be licensed or have a job here anymore & they know exactly why & that what she did was more than wrong, yet she still has a job 🙃 I’d give 0 stars if I could 💙

Do not go to them. I’ve been receiving psychiatric treatment from them for almost six months and have had my appointment rescheduled so many times that I had to see a different psychiatrist in the interim. They will deny sending you your test results despite you requesting them until you spend your copay yet again for another appointment. They also didn’t follow treatment plan and sent me in a medication I had never heard of, discussed, yet alone agreed to do, only then to make me schedule another appointment to get the medication I was originally supposed to be on. Even if you have severe side effects to a medication, they won’t change it to something else until you schedule another appointment despite only seeing them 4 days earlier. It does not matter if the psychiatrist says to call them and they will send something in after a few days if the medication doesn’t work. This then leaves you without anything for weeks. You will never talk to a nurse directly when you call and have to leave a voicemail each time. You will not get a same day response either, no matter the severity of your problem. They milk your copays out of you to get you coming back sooner and sooner without you ever improving in your health. Save your time and the worsening of your mental health and do not go here.
