Is this office even open anymore? Are they still receiving grant money for the people of the area of Douglas County? Can someone look into this??! People need help and have to go to West Plains to receive it??
I went there to apply for energy assistance. They was very helpful and assisted me with applying it. There is a lot that Ozark Action and help with like Home weatherization. If your low income they will put insulation in your home, storm window, and they have many other services. Also the Head start program is a pre school for children in low income homes. All 5 out of 7 of my children attended Hesd start. It was a great learning experience.
