What Parents Say
Oxford Falls Academy receives mostly positive reviews praising engaged staff, clean facilities, and strong academic outcomes for graduates. However, two negative reviews cite concerns about child safety (biting, injuries), lack of curriculum, and poor communication during a dismissal situation.
We entrusted this school with our children for over 2.5 years and are deeply disappointed by how our experience ended. Our four-year-old was asked to leave with essentially one day’s notice following a difficult day at school. While we do not excuse unsafe behavior, we were blindsided by this decision. The email referenced that “interventions were attempted,” yet no formal conference was ever held to discuss concerns, review strategies, or collaborate on next steps. At no point were we informed that dismissal was being considered. Adding to the impact, our two-year-old was also removed from her classroom and from a teacher she had been with since she was six weeks old, causing unnecessary emotional disruption for both children. On our final day, both my husband and I were present and saw the director in person. No attempt was made to speak with us regarding the situation. Follow-up emails seeking clarification and conversation went unanswered, and the only communication we received thereafter was regarding a tuition refund. We valued this school while we were there, but the lack of communication, transparency, and compassion during this process was heartbreaking. Families deserve partnership and dialogue—especially after years of enrollment.
I've got two kids in the program both since the age of 6 weeks. Teachers are phenomenal and engaging. My son has surprised my multiple times. For example, one day he started using sign language asking for more! When I asked, teacher said she teaches them some signing to help them better communicate. All three groups of teachers I've worked with have almost become family and I wouldn't want anyone else caring for my babies.
My oldest 15, graduated the first kindergarten class and I am blessed to be able to have them there for my 3 & 9 year old! I love the curriculum, the staff always busy and accommodating and they truly love kids like it's family. I have had other facilities where it was dirty or kids were getting hurt or bit, but not here. I know some parents can't pay and get upset when it's enforced and leave bad reviews (very immature) but I would recommend this facility for its safety and warm environment. I have 12 yrs experience with them... trust me YOU WILL LOVE IT!
What a great place! Our little one started a few months ago when he turned 6 months and everything is going well. The staff is very friendly, involved with the kids and open to the parents. I work full time and it's good to know my baby is in good care and I don't need to worry more than any first time mom would. The facility is clean and they're very breastfeeding friendly, which is a plus to me.
This a great childcare establishment. The workers treat the children like they were their own. The kids are on a great schedule and always know what to expect of their day. The staff are very communicative about any concerns or ideas they have for my child. It really gives me peace of mind at work to know my child is in such good hands.
