Took my kids for a quick drop in because I got called into work. I’m definitely not one to go for a daycare for my kids. I don’t trust any daycare centers because I don’t believe attention is given to each individual child and I highly value that for my kiddos. Today I had to bite it and let it be because I needed to work. I dropped them off and they both ran right into their rooms and immediately started playing and having fun. This was a first for them, they have never been in any day care setting. They took to it very well. When I picked them up they didn’t want to go home, they loved it! Abby was so kind and professional, and helped me understand how all of it worked. She made sure the teachers were aware of the “new kids” for the day, and all the teachers seemed nice. Abby got me set up in the app and kept in contact with me to make sure I knew how to use it; so I can see my kids at daycare, they input what they ate, diaper changes, and potty breaks and any other activity, and times at which all events occurred. All for one single day, I was treated like royalty and I so very much appreciate them for bailing me out today, and especially for making sure my littles were kept safe while I was gone.
My baby loves his daycare teachers and friends. I love the app, getting photos and updates throughout the day and being able to communicate with them in real time. The prices are fair and with the daycare covering wipes and formula, it really is a great deal that’s not offered through many other daycare options.
We have loved our experience at Over the Rainbow. We stumbled across this great daycare because it was close to my work. My son started going there when he was 3 months old. The staff and the teachers are very attentive and and love my child almost as much as I do. When I had to relocate for work we moved my son to a new daycare. It was awful and he just asked to go back to his "old" daycare (Over the Rainbow) over and over again. They were so great to take him back without even a second thought. To take him and pick him up it probably adds 20 miles to our commute everyday, but let me tell you that it is well worth it. My son is happy and learning lots and loves his teachers and friends. The teachers and staff treat him like he is one of their own and I know everyday when we drop him off and pick him up that he is going to be well taken care of. My son started potty training early and the teachers were more than willing to keep up with what we started at home and he was potty trained when he was a little over 2. He is very well rounded and is on a really good routine and a lot of that I have to say the daycare contributed to. I am going to have another baby and he is going to be going to daycare even sooner than my first and while it is never easy to drop your little one off, it brings me great peace of mind in knowing that he will be going to this facility and be as well taken care of as my first was (and still is). I highly recommend this daycare to anyone.
My children have been in the care of Over The Rainbow for over 7 years. The director of the daycare has become like a grandmother to my children. She watches over them, she keeps them safe and invest her time, energy and love into their overall well being. My husband and I have demanding work schedules and not one time have I had a worry about them being in the care of Over the Rainbow. When my youngest had infant troubles drinking formula, they had patience and did not give up. Their scores and observations from the state are always spot on, even though I think it’s ok for them to make coffee cake every once in awhile, they follow the rules and follow a low sugar diet for the kids. As a parent, I take responsibility for my kids. When they show bad behavior, it is my job to ensure they are aware that they made bad choices. I think that anyone who leaves a bad review of this daycare needs serious internal reflection of themselves and the way they parent their children and hold them accountable to their bad behaviors. Thank you Char for the love and care you give our children and becoming a piece of their family.
My twins were a part of the Over the Rainbow family for over a year. I can honestly say my boys were loved! The only reason we left was a need for specialized services that were too far away. Caregivers communicated well, helped with potty training and consistent routines. I genuinely appreciate every caregiver and all they taught my boys.
