The experience that me and my son had at this school it’s all about money. They say they are here to help with the families they pick and choose who they wanna help. I encounter during the time during determination for BCAP I returned my paperwork to the school they gave it back incomplete. I submitted it to BCAP they was not able to submit the application. The school Over the rainbow does not communicate with BCAP There’s no communication between The school and BCAP so if there was a misunderstanding, no parties communicate to get on one accord. Couple days ago I was notified by the school. February 11 at 2:23 PMLet me know that they never received a redetermination contract from BCCAP Unfortunately, due to Over the rainbow properly didn’t Complete my application in full there was multiple papers that was not filled out. It was a rushed job and apparently I lost my childcare due to the situation. I reached out to the owner and Jessica. They failed to assist me they gave me a rate of $313 weekly for my son which is a ridiculous amount. My son only a couple months left to graduate in June. I explained to her that was something that I did not want to commit to because I cannot afford that weekly. I am currently a single parent.I am so upset that I work very hard to get him in this school and now to be turned away with no help I was up-to-date with payments. I was up-to-date with my son’s immunization. My feelings are hurt im hurt more for my son to know that he would not be continuing or graduating With his other peers , classmates that he has been going to school for the past year, it saddens my heart that over the rainbow can’t do anything to assist me, but fail to complete the paperwork initially I feel like I was targeted and I’m the only parent who’s paper work was not complete. The $300 deposit that was on my account Jessica took that and applied it to the $695 new charge that she charge me for two weeks for my son. I explained I cannot afford it. And I am not going to commit to something I cannot afford. She applied those funds to my account before going over what I had to pay that was inconsiderate lack of communication.I emailed the owner and she said that there was nothing she can do. I’m flabbergasted I thought this school was to help and understanding that things happen, but to just leave a family out With no solution isn’t something that I want me or my son to experience again. I work hard just like any other parent. How hurtful To just be kicked out with no other plan . Currently, BCAP is not accepting new applications.
Over the Rainbow Daycare has been an absolute blessing for our family! The staff is incredibly caring, patient, and dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. Finding the right daycare was extremely important and from the moment we walked into Over the Rainbow, it immediately felt like the right place. Jessica was amazing from the very beginning, answering all our questions and guiding us through the process. The teachers and staff are always smiling and laughing, making the environment feel friendly and welcoming. Ms. Brianna and Ms. Febe have been so amazing in helping our daughter get use to daycare and I love how comfortable she feels around them. Ms. Maya and Ms. Kristy are so sweet and Ms. Ashley is always giving a warm welcome. Couldn’t recommend them enough.
Our son has been going here for 7 months now. As new parents it was tough to find a spot that we liked and trusted. Through the whole process (including delays on our part) they were so flexible and understanding of everything. Our son now loves to go to school and is learning so much. We get so many pictures in the app that really put us at ease too. Shout-out to Jessica and the teachers in the infants and tiny tots! They were all great at recognizing his skills and transitioning him to the next steps at the perfect time.
Hands down, best daycare. My son graduated from Pre K, and my daughter has transitioned from the Toddler room to now being into Preschool. The staff and teachers are VERY attentive, and you can tell that your child feels loved! My children have learned so much, and truly love being there!
