Beautiful park with a lot of trails. Hardly any elevation change throughout the trail, so the trails are very easy on the knees. The trails are also very wide which is great if you have a dog next to you. There are some designated trails that horseback riders are allowed on as well as hikers, so keep an eye out for piles of poop lol. Most of the trails stay within a few feet of the ponds, and there are many benches you can take a break that overlook one of the lakes. Identified dozens of different birds as well as spotted other wildlife: deer, groundhog, butterflies, turtles, fish
Great spot for a picnic or a hike. Horse riding trails in season. Well maintained. Lot's of woods. You'll see plenty of wildlife. Dogs on leashes are welcome. Large lake to walk around.
Nice place with lots of trails. The frogs and birds are almost deafening in some spots and there's lots of mud but very clean. For horse friendly trails i was surprised to see them so free of droppings.
It’s beautiful in the snow and I had no idea it was so extensive. There’s lots of trails with historical signs. Blue jays, cardinals, robins, and so much more lives here. Most of the trails just loop around the ponds.
Always love going here. So beautiful, and I have caught some nice fish here!!! Also a nature based preschool on site, will send my future kids here 😉
