Questionable church and staff. Do not pull into this church if you are having a car emergency and need to get off the road immediately. You will be harassed, belittled, and asked why you would even consider pulling into their parking lot. They will call the police and their security will continue to harass until you get off of their lot. I wouldn’t treat any stranger like that, let alone my neighbor. It seems this is not a church, this is just a building. Lead with love and remember to call on Jesus when you find yourself in a situation you do not know how to properly handle. Galatians 5:13-14 “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other”
This church refused to host my sister’s memorial service and, during that conversation, said: “This isn’t a fast food place—you can’t get service when you want.” Policies are one thing. Speaking to a grieving family with sarcasm and dismissal is another. The lack of compassion, humility, or basic human decency was shocking. Especially from a church. I am disgusted.
Really sad to see how this church and there security guard acted towards someone in need. Even sadder to see some of the members of the church like Marcia Jane Dicks being rude to those defending the lady too. unaccepted but not surprising behavior. Do better for your community and for jesus himself.
The people here are EXTREMELY RUDE. ESPECIALLY the security guard, he likes to harass people. Galatians 6:2, "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ". You guys did not do that today. God is watching and sees everything.
I’m Lutheran and been searching for a new church. Thank you for taking yourself out of the equation. I’m not comfortable being around people that don’t have any compassion.
