Our Children'S House

My 3-year-old son has been attending Our Children’s House for a few months now, and the difference compared to his previous daycare is remarkable. From the moment we enrolled, it felt like more than just a place for him to go while my husband and I are at work, it truly feels like we became part of a community. I no longer feel nervous at work wondering what’s happening at my son’s daycare, nor do I feel anxious when picking him up to find out how his day went. That peace of mind has meant everything. The smaller class sizes and thoughtful, creative activities have been the perfect fit for our son. He comes home excited to share what he learned each day, which tells me he feels engaged, supported, and happy. The teachers and staff clearly put care into building meaningful connections with the kids and their families. What I love just as much is how the parents become closer, too. It feels like everyone is part of the same supportive circle, cheering each other on and sharing in the joy of watching our children grow. Our Children’s House is a five-star daycare, but more importantly, it feels like the little village every parent hopes for when raising their child. We are so grateful to of found our village.

We have had our 20 month old daughter here for about a month now. I was so nervous about switching from a nanny with individualized care to a daycare setting, but Our Children's House has been an absolute dream. The teacher-student ratios are the lowest we found, the staff are incredible- so kind and accommodating.our daughter loves going here each morning! She loves the crafts and outdoor time! I especially love the fact that older and younger kids get to spend some time together at different parts of the day to all learn from and mentor each other. I also really enjoy the parent involvement aspect of the co-op - we get to contribute to how our children are educated and cared for. It has also allowed me to make parent friends and as a new transplant to Greensboro, that's been really encouraging. Would highly recommend this daycare!

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Our Children's House. Our daughter has been enrolled for a year now, and we feel like we've found the school that best fits our family. The class structure, curriculum and classroom environment are perfectly suited for young learners. The staff is caring, professional, and truly invested in each child's development. At this point some of them join us for our children related events at home. The school itself is clean, safe, and well-equipped. This has become our daughter's home away from home, and she genuinely looks forward to going each day. We plan to keep her enrolled through her remaining preschool years, and we've already decided to enroll her little brother when he's old enough. If you're searching for a daycare where your child will thrive, be nurtured, and have an incredible early learning experience, we wholeheartedly recommend OCH.

We had such a great experience at OCH. Our daughter started at almost 2 years old, her first time in daycare. The moment we walked in for our tour, I could tell this was the place we'd feel safe and confident leaving our child. The staff are incredible-lots of them have been there for decades, which speaks volumes about their passion for teaching and children. We moved out of state, and nearly 2 years later, our daughter still talks about her days at OCH, we even still Facetime with a few of her teachers and it's so special. I'm so grateful to have had them as our village and any child would be lucky to have a spot there!

We could not be happier having our child at OCH! The teachers are kind and loving and offer a warm and nurturing environment for the kids. Our little one is thriving and LOVES going to school everyday! I cannot recommend OCH enough to any family looking for a community centered daycare.
