Our Children'S Academy

Our family had a wonderful experience at OCA. The teachers and staff are warm, caring, and truly dedicated to each child’s growth and well-being. OCA provides a nurturing and supportive environment where children feel happy, confident, and loved. We are very grateful for the care and attention Evelyn received during her time there, and we highly recommend OCA to families looking for a thoughtful early childhood program.

Update: So my 2 year old daughter had been going to OCA for less than a year now. Overall experience has been pretty decent actually. Price was decent... definitely not on the cheaper side of it.. and it's monthly.. meaning if you are doing a fulltime (M to F) and you have vacation or days that the child is not going to be there, you are still responsible for the full amount which i guess it's pretty standard? there were few big issues that really solidified our decision to move away from OCA. And really, this could be just personal reason but i figured these types of online platforms are out there so that people can obtain reviews from people that would provide honest, un-biased experience. 1. behavior changes and language changes: Almost a month into our daughter being there, her tone and her language choice got noticeably changed. "MOVE BACK" or "I am watching you" or "STOP" were just few examples of choice of words that she started using; trust me... we use these words too at home, but not at the time when she started saying. We were worried that maybe she is picking up these words and how they are being spoken to her from the daycare.... And knowing that sometimes caring for children could be frustrating at times. I am sure teachers are human too and sometimes they also do get stressed out and frustrated. We can't watch every minute of her time at OCA so it's really hard to say how this really happened and frankly hard to "prove" per say. But needless to say, WE WERE NOT THE ONLY PARENTS experiencing this over there. So, our concerns, in our eyes, were verified and justified. 2. Now the "fever" issues: this was essentially how this review came about. Our daughter was sick few weeks ago. High fever, sore throat, no appetite, she had it all. The following week, after few days (just less than a week actually) of being at home and recovering. we ended up getting her back to the daycare. It was our last week of the daycare there anyways (we already gave our notice of termination prior to her being sick). Of course, understandably so... she was still not 100 percent. But definitely fever free and had not had any Tylenol or Motrin for over 36 hours or so at that time. 2nd day back to the daycare, I got a call from the carecenter that she had a "fever of 100.2" and not well. So i rushed to the daycare to see her and pick her up essentially. When she came out, she was smiling and not in any distress... AND GET THIS... she was not warm to touch ANYWHERE in the body...Immediately coming back home, I checked the temperature TWICE through the butt (most accurate measurement), and they were 97.2, 97.3F. It would have been reasonable if the temperature was close enough for me to understand their reasons behind it.. but the difference of 3 degrees within 10 minutes?? I did not believe it. And now she was not welcomed back to the daycare ON THE LAST DAY OF HER TIME THERE since it was recorded that she had a "fever" and she needed to be fever free for 24 hours prior to her being back to the carecenter. I can understand that having a child who WAS sick recently could be still contagious and could make others sick. but at least be honest and say THAT, instead of saying that the child has a "fever" when she was not even unusually warm to touch. this was a total turn-off that just erased ANY positive experience that we had with OCA. Maybe it was because of the fact that they are being "audited" by the state health department early 1/2026 and they want to make sure that the stats of NOT having sick kids around were important to show? Who knows... I can only assume, but not prove... I know this review is VERY long and i am sure not alot of people would take time to read this... but this is probably my very first review that I actually spent significant amount of time and effect to think about what i wanted to say here. As a parent, choosing the right daycare can be a daunting task since you just cannot foresee what would happen to your child.... So I hope that this would help SOME parents making the right choice.

We were so nervous about sending our first daughter to daycare but it ended up being such a great experience thanks to OCA. The best thing about OCA? The teachers hands down. They are so kind, so loving, and really care for the children like their own. Shoutout to Ms. Candy and Ms. Elizabeth!! In the short time we were there, they did many cute events such as Mothers Day and Father’s Day, which we loved! The only feedback I have is regarding communication when kids transition to the next class up. We would have loved to hear more about it as it was happening and gotten a chance to meet the teachers and see the classroom.

Ms. Madiha has been absolutely wonderful with my daughter. I am genuinely so grateful for the care, patience, and attention she gives her students. my daughter feels safe, happy, and excited to be in her class, and that speaks volumes. Ms. Madiha creates such a warm and nurturing environment, thank you so much and I deeply appreciate everything she does.

We are incredibly grateful for Our Children's Academy. Our son began his journey there when he was less than two years old and just recently graduated, fully prepared for kindergarten. The management and teachers, especially Miss Allison, were simply wonderful. Their positive and kind approach, coupled with the extra attention they gave our son, truly helped him thrive. We're so impressed with the educational foundation he received and couldn't be happier with our experience.
