Weird… I received a call yesterday after waiting two weeks for someone to follow up with me after my son had an evaluation. This woman I never met or spoke with before call me and told me during the evaluation my son was crying, He didn’t want play with anyone and stayed to himself, Recommended that my son get evaluated by CPS because they have concerns for his speech, the funny thing about that is my son does not have any issues with his speech. He knows his alphabets and his numbers and he know knows how to read, literally since between the ages of one and two, She told me my son was going to be need to be put in a smaller class, And that my son had issues adapting, Funny thing is everything that she described about my son, I observed with the other child he was being evaluated with literally when we went to go get our children from the room the other little boy burst out crying, And needed to be calmed down, but my son on the other hand was happy to see me. He vocalized that and he also did an activity with one of the women who were evaluating him, which was a Hispanic lady. She actually told me that. He did pretty good and he was able to adapt much easier than the other child so I just find it so weird that this is what she’s saying but I also find it weird that someone said something along the lines of My son did not want to sit down during the processing of the paperwork, which is really weird because like why are you even spreading the information about a child like that and I know who exactly said it and when I realized it I was like, yes this is not the place for my son. I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but ghetto politics always come into play, She asked me did I want to schedule for another evaluation. I declined, Because the information she gave me about the evaluation for my son was actually the complete opposite of what happened, They never actually followed up with me, I had to keep calling to follow up on the enrollment, Which was another red flag, I was optimistic in the beginning, but of course that was followed up by disappointment For my son, but not me because I know my son’s potential and it is pretty sad that you have places like this in the neighborhood and just really pick the children apart and instead of just caring and giving them a chance, My son is very bright and intelligent, and I know he has a bright future ahead of him, I considered this place because it was in the neighborhood, but now I see why A lot of parents actually seek opportunities for their children outside the neighborhood because they really don’t have a fighting chance in their own neighborhood when it comes to education and building A future for the children In their own neighborhood. It’s pretty sad and I’m just glad that I was able to see the red flags ahead of time. Otherwise I’m pretty sure I would’ve had a lot of issues down the line.

I loved this place! I had a horrible experience with the first daycare center I enrolled my son into, it was so bad, he use to cry when we drove past it because he thought he was going back :( In 2020, a family member told me about Educare because she previously worked for them, and I'm so glad she did! They were so awesome with him and the field trips were amazing!! My son absolutely loved it here! During the pandemic, they gave families books, paper towels, tissue, laundry detergent, grocery store gift cards up to $200 and we received checks starting at $1000. My son never went back because we moved to Georgia, but I just had to post this and give credit where it's due! Thank You to all the staff for making me comfortable with leaving my son in your care. It's hard to find good childcare centers, I was blessed to have Educare fall into my lap! :)

The support system that comes with being a parent in this program is the best! They let you know that you’re not alone and helps in every way possible even to grow as a parent. Love the childcare educators, social workers, lunch ladies, shoot. the whole staff is amazing, professional and nice. For moms with childcare (like me) who can’t afford any expensive programs and also still currently in school. the social workers help me out a lot on places that are hiring & school programs. I highly recommend
