Do not send your child here. DIRECTOR IS EXTREMELY RUDE! Children here bite and aren’t being watching properly. My 1yr old was moved up a class and within two weeks he was bitten on his cheek so hard that it left a mark for more than 24hrs. The teachers did not see the mark. Didnt see him get bit and the cameras that they have apparently didn’t see the bite incident either. When I talked to Angela the director is extremely rude she told me to put myself in the other parents shoes & he only got bit one. That is not a comment you make to a parent who’: child got bit . Another incident occurred where I didn’t want my child going out in 40 degree weather as he already had a runny noise. The front desk person told me she would let him stay inside but then the next day called and told me to get him because he is sick. Every other week my son is being picked up because of him being sick and when I take him to the doctor he is just fine. They don’t follow policies on dcf but Angela will tell you to read it when she doesn’t want to talk. Angela has her dog roaming free in the outside area where the big kids play. They don’t make reports of incidents that occurs. Lastly when I removed my child I was told I would get the fee waived and get my money in a check. Childcare here is 233. I have 310 in my child’s account . Ive called mutiple times, they refuse to answer or return calls . 310 is Welll over the daycare amount and they are now refusing to refund it to me.i also was just informed that I’ve been overcharged for daycare . I’ve been paying 230 every week and a letter was just sent to me stating tuition is only 210 a week and still no refund can be made

My son absolutely loves it here! Walking in and seeing Ms. Angela’s warm smile and friendly welcome, along with her morning chat with him, makes me so happy to see that he feels comfortable. We also can’t forget his amazing teacher, Mrs. Rachel—he truly adores her!

I’ve been bringing my children to Open Arms for about two years now, and despite a few significant changes over time, one thing has remained constant: their genuine devotion to the kids. Unlike other daycares in the area, Open Arms is consistently well-staffed, clean, and organized, with a structured curriculum that supports each child’s development. My children have had wonderful teachers who truly care for them as individuals. One of my sons faced behavioral challenges that were becoming disruptive, and the staff handled the situation with such kindness and patience. Rather than giving up on him, the director, Ms. Angela, gave us the opportunity to seek support and make the necessary corrections. That level of grace and understanding meant the world to us. I truly love this program and feel incredibly blessed to have three of my children enrolled here. 10/10. Highly recommend!

I was fortunate to find open arms almost 2 years ago for my girl who is now in VPK. I couldn’t be happier with the Management , Staffing, Organization, Attention to every child, The community of parents coming together for their children, And the cleanliness of the school. I can’t say enough good things about the school I could not be happier.

No policy or protocol. in place for kids that are biters. The Director needs training on how to properly communicate.
