Open Arms Child Care Center

My wife and I were very excited to enroll our son when he was about a year and a half old. While this is a good daycare with many dedicated teachers and an emphasis on Christ that we truly appreciated, our overall experience was disappointing, and we ultimately felt it was not the right fit for our son. We observed that some of the teachers lacked warmth and responsiveness toward the children. On several occasions during drop-off, our son would be crying at the door, and the teacher did not acknowledge him or attempt to comfort him. We were also concerned by what seemed to be inappropriate developmental assessments made by staff that were unqualified. Shortly after our son’s second birthday, we were told that he did not communicate at daycare and did not make eye contact with others. When we shared these concerns with his pediatrician, she was surprised, as he was attentive and engaged during his medical visits. She did not understand why the teachers were unable to engage him. Later that year, we decided to change daycares. Since then, our son has been thriving. He is expressive, engaged, and developing wonderfully. We are extremely proud of his progress, which further confirmed our belief that the previous environment was not the best fit for him.

Fantastic experience here with Greta, Debbie and the rest of the crew! Our daughter started here at around 4 months old and they have always been so caring towards her! Communication is great and they make you feel like family! Shout out to our daughter’s “fav” Clara!

Before our daughter started at the daycare we heard nothing but great things about open arms we Immediately signed her up to be placed on the wait list! It took a while however it was worth the wait! She is so happy has blossomed into this social butterfly that we all love!!! I am so appreciative to the staff they go over and beyond for each and every child at the center. We are thankful for that alone

We are SO happy with our experience with this daycare! The teachers truly care about our son, who smiles each morning when we drop him off. They have excellent communication with families, and will often send updates/pictures of him doing fun activities. The facility is clean and the outdoor playground is spacious and has something for all ages. This daycare is in the opposite direction of our work places, but worth the drive because of the amazing care that is provided. We couldn’t be more pleased and grateful!

The great place to start your kids off right. Lots of good morale of bringing suitable for children this page. Conveniently located next to emergency services as well. deep away from the road. Parking is not an issue My daughter loves it here. And talks about Miss Morgan and Miss Savannah all the time at home. The most difficult part is keeping my child home when she's sick and not getting enough time off from the school to do so meaning sometimes that we have to take out of school even though she's sick because there's not enough time off provided for children to stay away from the school when they're sick.
