I was out of meds for weeks and my case manager at another agency wasn't helping out. I called Step-Up and the awesome front desk guy sent me to Jake. Jake was able to fix my issue so I could go get my meds the same day. He didn't try to make me transfer there or pull any bullshit, and he treated me like my problems matter, which was not how other places have made me feel. It took him 15 minutes to fix a weeks long slog of bureaucracy and phone calls.
Went here to get tested, and everything was pretty quick and easy, and free so please don't be afraid about payment the appointment was easy to set up online and all the staff was very friendly, and I even left with some complimentary items. Would recommend 🙏🏼
This place is so amazing. I came here for free std testing and everything was so clean. I was so nervous during it but my tester was so chill (Mike you’re the goat) and made me feel really comfortable. I asked a lot of questions and he answered thoroughly :) can’t believe this place is free and can’t recommend it enough!!
I refer folks to Step-Up all the time for FREE STI testing. It's where I always go for my three month testing. They have after work hours on Tuesday and Thursday! Every tester has been wonderful. It is so clear how much they care about what they do. It's a safe and judgment free environment. They have other services as well, but the testing is all I need at this time. Cannot recommend them enough!
This is a place of resources and care coordinations. They strive to make peoples lives in our community better... These people have an understanding of what folks go through in their day to day, and are there to pickup and help with the things when we fall short, or need help in answering prayers... They have access to government funding as well as a knowledge of other accesses to funding, housing, health benefits as well as clothing and food... If you are at a point of need, genuine need in your life, this could be the group you need to seek advice from... Truly worth the 5minutes of your busy life, to see what they have to offer
