Once Upon A Daycare & Preschool Center

Rosie and her staff have been amazing for me and my 4 children who attend. She has helped with my autistic son who has anxiety. He is happy every day we pull into the center parking lot cheering!. All the kids really enjoy their time at the center. I am so happy I found them.

We have been going to Once upon a daycare for the past four months and have nothing but positive things to say. Rosie truly cares about her school and all of the families that attend. Our kids are always doing something educational and fun throughout the day. The teachers are exceptional and go above and beyond. We could not be more grateful.

My daughter has been going here about a year and she LOVES it , she has grown so much since going to this day care / pre school. Every teacher and rosie cares for the kids like her own. She points put concerns about your child and works work them about the concerns. Would recommend this daycare!

Our 2 year old has been receiving care here for 2 weeks. He has never been away from me or my husband. Not only does our baby have separation anxiety, but so do we - his parents. Our baby was given a picture of me to soothe him this week. He even napped outside of the home for the first time. Mrs Rosie & Staff have made this transition smooth. I appreciate the center/parent interaction through the app & the reassuring text messages. I highly recommend this Daycare Center!

I’ve worked at daycares and that’s what made me decide I’d never place my own children in one. I’ve seen other places blatantly disregard food requirements set by ODJFS and even ignore safety concerns like proper fall zones. I’ve had some scary colleagues who definitely shouldn’t have been working in daycares. Not to mention, most directors don’t learn the children’s needs—let alone their names. But this daycare is different. Rosie cares about every part of her enrolled children’s lives—down to their pets and grandparents names! She works hard to make sure she has staff that’s a good fit. My children have grown so much socially, physically, and mentally! I never thought I’d have one year olds saying “bless you!” when I sneeze or “mommy okay?” when I hurt myself. Their current teachers in the toddler rooms are helping them become so confident! I love how my kids sometimes tell me “mommy, go away” when I come to get them because they want to stay and play! I was so scared they’d hate daycare and cry all the time. But they genuinely love their teachers and that makes me so happy. It’s hard not being a stay at home mom anymore but I’m at least not worried and know they’re safe and loved while away from me! Also, for those commenting on lack of communication—They use a parent app called Class Dojo and post constantly and send photos and messages! I LOVE the app! Rosie also sends email blasts through a secondary program to keep us updated on everything going on called Procare. She also gives her cell number to every parent and tells us to feel free to text her anytime with questions or concerns. This daycare has the best communication I’ve ever seen!
