Ollies Imagination Station

My children love this preschool, progression in many things from the time each started. Ronda is an amazing director, and her staff are great as well!

So we are at the trampoline park when my boys come and tell me a little boy is in the corner coughing, gagging and crying. Says he has asthma and his preschool counselor is fussing with him telling him to throw up in the trash can and not on the trampoline and then walked away from him. Naturally, I go over there and this poor boy about 5/6 years old is taking extremely deep breaths, coughing and crying! I hear the counselor tell him to stop crying and tells him to try to get himself calmed down. Now I don't go around saying I'm a nurse to strangers but in this case I did hoping she would feel comfortable letting me help. I begin asking questions and the counselor abruptly tells me that she cant watch him and answer my questions. Ummmm hello HE IS HAVING TROUBLE BREATHING!!! You don't need to be "watching" him you need to MOVE and get him some help. Instead she spends all this time calling the facility for phone numbers to which no one answered. No inhaler and no emergency phone numbers on hand?? Seriously Good Start Preschool in Laurel, DE you're employees need some education and training on how to handle these types of situations because this lady was far from sympathetic or reasonable regarding this poor little boys condition.

This is a wonderful school. They work with parents and all the staff are absolutely wonderful at their jobs! It also says something when several teachers bring their young children!
