My daughter has been doing really well here and when I come to pick her up she tells me how much fun she has with her teachers and her fellow classmates. This genuinely makes me happy! The place she was at prior to this one the kids were always sick and since she’s been there nearly a year she’s only had a minor cough. I appreciate the staff here that ensures not only the safety but also a clean environment as well. Thank you so much!

Horizon Old Brooklyn is an amazing place for children!!! Hana Old Brooklyn director consistently demonstrates strong leadership skills, providing clear vision and direction for the daycare center. She effectively motivates and empowers staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Administration is wonderful and accessible. The teachers and teacher assistants are patient, speak kindly with the children and are very communicative with parents I'm particularly impressed with the variety of activities they offer, from art and music to outdoor play. The staff is fantastic, and they really know how to make learning fun. The teachers are dedicated and create a stimulating learning environment. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could!!!

My son started urinating his pants after they hired Ms. G. He had been potty trained for well over a year with no accidents before any of this started happening. Not only that, he had been in school for 2 months with NO such issues before she was hired. I sent an email in regards to discussing WHY this may be happening and let them know he had back up clothes in his backpack so he didn't have to sit in his own urine for who knows how long with NO RESPONSE. No problems once he graduated to another class a few weeks later. Anyone in childcare knows this is a huge red flag. The staff verbally berates their own children and calls them names and swear at them on school property. If they can't control it in the parking lot, what would make you ever believe they can around your child behind closed doors. Please save your response about how well you vet your employees. It means nothing if you don't manage them.

I can’t speak highly enough about the experience I’ve had with Old Book at Horizon Education Center. From the moment you walk through the doors, it’s clear that this is a place built on dedication, professionalism, and a deep care for every child that comes through. The staff here is exceptional—each member brings not only experience but also a genuine love for working with children. It’s rare to find a team so consistently warm, attentive, and invested in every child's growth and well-being. You can tell they’re not just doing a job—they truly care. Hana, the director, is an incredible leader. She’s extremely well-spoken, approachable, and knowledgeable about both early childhood education and managing a team effectively. Her leadership is reflected in the positive atmosphere of the center. She communicates clearly and thoughtfully, setting the tone for a supportive and well-organized work environment. You can feel the respect and collaboration among the staff, which directly benefits the children and families they serve. Communication between staff and parents is also top-notch. You’re never left in the dark about your child’s day or development. The entire team works hard to build trust and maintain open, honest conversations. Old Brooklyn Horizon education center is a standout example of what early education should be. My three children have gone to this center since 2022 and I have never ever had any issues with them coming here. My oldest is autistic and is always treated with respect by staff since day 1. My youngest has adhd and is also was worked with and I was provided many recommendations and resources by the director, Hana to help with my children. Hana loves all the center kids as if they were her own children, and seeing the recent review left by another parent who I haven’t even seen at this center for a while is disgustingly awful and does not reflect accurately on the staff members and how the center is ran. My kids love coming here before and after school. They also enjoy the many summer activities that they schedule for them to keep them busy! From field trips to clubs and activities! No one has ever been abusive to them at all. I highly recommend this childcare center above any other center within a 25 mile radius.
