Skye and Deanna in reception made our unexpected need for lodging a breeze! When we arrived at our ski home in Ludlow and found it uninhabitable, I immediately went to Jackson Gore in hopes of salvaging the impromptu ski weekend with my daughter. The team at Jackson Gore reception were gracious and lovely and found us the perfect spot for two nights. The next day while skiing we met Cam on the lift and he shared stories of the resort and encouraged us to try Colman Brook for dinner. Much to our delight that night, we were seated in Cam’s section where he treated us like dear friends, providing fabulous recommendations from entree to dessert. What was almost a disaster lost weekend turned into an amazing time with my daughter and her best friend. Top notch customer service and accommodations!!!!

Jackson Gore at Okemo has been a special place for our family for more than 20 years, and this visit reminded us why we keep coming back. The mountain, the lodge, and the memories we’ve made here with our kids are part of our family story. What truly makes Okemo special, though, has always been the people. And that’s still true. Katie, the front desk manager at Jackson Gore, delivered a masterclass in service—warm, thoughtful, proactive, and genuinely caring. She’s exactly the kind of person who defines great hospitality. Barb, our private ski instructor, was exceptional with the kids. Pam behind the bar brought her usual warmth and personality that makes you feel at home. And Tucker—who wasn’t there this year but has meant so much to past visits—embodies that same spirit of service that keeps guests coming back. Since Vail acquired Okemo, we’ve noticed some changes—larger group lesson sizes and a shift to third-party call centers instead of local, knowledgeable staff. Those details matter. But what still separates Okemo from everywhere else are the people on the ground who care deeply and serve with excellence. As long as those people are here, Okemo—and Jackson Gore—will always feel like home to us.

I've never skied Okemo before until this year. We took a family trip in January and stayed in the Adams House, one of the Ski-in Ski-out condos at the Jackson Gore Village. The indoor parking garage was an added bonus considering it snowed pretty hard the day we went home. We stayed during the week and it felt like we almost had the entire side of the mountain to ourselves. Most importantly the mountain was extremely family friendly and offered a wide variety of trails for different skill levels. Not only was the skiing great, but my kids enjoyed watching the groomers do their work to maintain the trails every evening from our room. Highly recommend!

Love staying slopeside at Jackson Gore. It was a cold week, but Okemo received a lot of snow from Sunday's storm. Conditions were excellent. No better place to ski when it is in the teens. The "bubble" chairlifts keep you sheltered and warm. Great, pleasant and helpful staff, good restaurant. Love Ludlow!

If you need to go to sauna after skiing- this hotel is not for you. The sauna in the hotel is not working at all and the one in the Spring House is just warm. We were there together with another person- he called staff asking to fix the temperature, but the answer was that the sauna is set up for the temperature it has. So it basically ruined all our vacation, bc we have to have a functional sauna at the ski resort we are staying. Next- front desk staff don’t know anything - they are not informed. When we were leaving , I called asking for a bellman to bring a dolly helping me to take our luggage downstairs and I got the answer that they don’t have anyone to do it. I responded that if they want me to check out and leave the studio - they better find someone - so they finally responded. Next - you can’t store your ski equipment near entry/exit like it is done in other ski resorts. Next - bedding - mattresses , bed linens are of a lowest quality - we didn’t have a restful sleep. Will we stay here again? NO!
