What Parents Say
This facility appears to be a homeless shelter or social services center rather than a traditional daycare. Reviews are highly polarized, with some praising food quality and assistance programs, while others report serious operational and sanitation issues.
I got there at 6:30 Austin didn't wanna do nothing he complained about a friend not making it in. It's 8:30 he tells me he can't do intake come back. Because he hates doing paperwork smh what a shame an that's why people like him shouldn't have power when they abuse it and misuse it. But karma is real! if I wasn't educated I would think he's getting paid to hold rooms for his choice which is terrible, I've done alot for the city this is a Terrible operated shelter Austin thinks the place belongs to him all o heard is him complaining to me in intake and being rude about his supervisor my age making him do his job because he hates the job. When he's in position to change someone life he's makes it all about him an etc he doesn't know who people are who would donate but this place is poorly ran and looks bad for the city per usual because of egos he should look for another job if he is unhappy with providing service to those in need. Shame on him an he makes the entire community look bad.
I was here years ago with my daughter. It was infested with bed bugs and roaches. Sometimes you didn't get a meal. The staff was rude and judge mental. It's sad that nothing much has changed. They didnt have any programs. I can go on and on about how bad this place was.
It's good that there helping the homeless etc.. They need help with getting things in order as far sponsors, staff in order to get things right. Some good staff with some bad apple but that's everywhere now. They need to open up mental facilities for those who need it for it's extremely needed. Not to mention the walk ins are treated and fed differently than those who have a referral
Keep Warming Shelter open until End of March
This organization is truly fake, they treat individuals who need help as if they are no better than a stray animal that wandered in their back yard. The majority of the is ill suited for jobs, lacking in understanding and compation or concern for they're plight. The meals they provide especially the breakfast is substandard where it concerns the fact they will be putting men out on the street at 5:30 in the morning with no place to go or find a decent meal in or around the area for many hours. Cold cereal or bowl of Luke warm oat meal that's better suited fixing holes in dry wall. Using the the word ministries is disrespectful in every sense of the word. One would truly be desperate to stay there, sharing space with bed bugs and other forms of infestations.
