What Parents Say
Oakland Sunshine Day Care receives mostly positive reviews praising caring, professional staff and cleanliness. However, one parent reported a negative enrollment experience with the director being unhelpful and unwilling to provide tours or information without being on a waitlist.
Sharing my phone experience trying to enroll my kid. Just had a call with the director Alexis, who didn't seem to be interested in sharing information at all. She was very eager to end the call and reluctant to share any details, basically they don't do any tours or provide information unless there is an open spot. So to get information about the schedule or have a look at the facility, i would have to enroll in waitlist which is very different than the other day cares like kinder care, Goddard that are welcoming
It's $38/day for the infant care. 6:30 am - 6 pm. Flexible with part time schedule. The infant care taker Debbie is very responsible and kind; everyone is friendly and greeted our baby with big smiles everyday we came in and left. Our baby looked happy and sound under Debbie and others' care. The day care has a relatively short waiting list, and was willing to work with us on altered schedule. It has space to improve, but for what we were paying for and the convenience it offered with its short waiting period and closeness to our work, we were happy with Oakland Sunshine.
This is a very good childcare. The teachers care about the children. The children are learning. The daycare is very clean.
My son and I Loved it there. They are very welcoming, professional and caring. Always kept me informed. They go above for all the kids and their families! I recommend them highly.
Great group of people professional informative and they show they care
