Northwood Montessori School

Our family absolutely loves this Montessori school. Not only does my child attend, but all of my nieces and nephews have gone here as well — and that alone speaks volumes. It has truly become part of our family’s story. The environment is calm, nurturing, and thoughtfully prepared to encourage independence and confidence. The teachers are patient, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child’s growth. They meet every child where they are and help them develop not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. What stands out most is the consistency and quality over the years. Watching so many children in our family grow through this program — all becoming confident, capable, and kind little humans — has been such a blessing. Now seeing my own child thrive in the same environment feels incredibly special. We are so grateful for the love, guidance, and strong foundation this school provides. I highly recommend it to any family looking for a Montessori experience that truly feels like home

Our toddler has been attending Northwood Montessori for the last 8 months, and it has been a wonderful experience! All of the staff are patient, respectful, and knowledgeable, and we have seen such growth since she has started attending. It is a true Montessori environment and my husband and I have learned so much about how to set our toddler up for independence and success. Almost every evening she tells me “I want to go to school again” 😊 we love Northwood!

Both my kiddos have gone to this school. We've been very impressed with the experience. When we looked around for a Montessori school, we found plenty of imitators, but Northwood turned out to be the real deal. The place is organized in such a neat fashion. The classrooms are wonderfully curated, and the grounds are fantastic for the kiddos. My kiddo's teachers have been top notch, and the ratio of student to teacher excellent. I know that the area is not where you'd expect to find this gem, but go down that road and meet with them. Go and see the grounds for yourself. See the kids during their school hours. It is truly a marvel of a place to send your kids to.

Northwood Montessori has become our son’s constant after home .He joined the toddler community at 18 months and not only has it helped with his development but he is very happy when we pick him up - which I think is a great sign .It is truly a school that fosters independence , curiosity and a love for learning . As an educator myself , I can go on and on … but I can truly say Northwood Montessori is the real deal when it comes to the Montessori philosophy. All the guides are AMI trained . It truly provides a very solid foundation for learning .

Northwood Montessori AMI is an amazing environment for your children to learn and grow. I have had the pleasure of sending my two daughters to this school, and plan to send my son here as well as soon as he is old enough. From 18 months to 7 years, this school provides much more than a typical day care Montessori. You won't find another school in this area accredited by the Association Montessori Internationale, the organization dedicated to maintaining the integrity of Maria Montessori’s legacy. You will notice a difference when you first walk into the classroom for your observation. The environment purposely designed, allowing the children freedom to learn. The classroom is clean, and the teachers well trained. The results are amazing. My children are independent, well prepared to deal with conflict, and have learned to love learning. In addition to the traditional work period, Northwood also offers after school care in the "Home Environment Room" to enable the focused work period, and then provide a similar environment for full day care.
