This school was fantastic for our daughter and our family. It was a wonderful foundational step before entering the elementary years. Our daughter learned so much and we made life long friendships . We love Mrs. Wilson ! She is so great with the kids and with us parents too;) I really valued being a part of of co-op. I worked in the classroom as a parent helper, and secretary over the years but there are all sorts of ways to be involved . I highly recommend this school!
I have been lucky enough to be able to send both of my children to this preschool. Mrs. Wilson is a gem who truly values teaching and meeting students where they are to help them grow and be ready for the next step in their school careers. The sense of community that this school fosters is wonderful, and one of my favorite parts about it. From play dates to parents helping in the classroom - you're constantly growing friendships and a community of learning and support for the kids.
Sending our kids to NW coop preschool was one of the best parenting decisions we have made to date. It was such a wonderful introduction to school for our children. The kids will all hands-down say that preschool was the best and Mrs. Wilson still reigns as their favorite teacher :) Child-lead, play-based, nature-inspired - doesn't get any better than that! As a parent, being a part of the co-op and working shifts in the classroom was a really great segue from the early days of toddlers at home, to kids being away at school all day. It gave you such an amazing window into how their brains work and how they interact with their peers. One of the best things about the preschool is that it is cooperatively run by all of the families. This builds an amazing community of families. It truly takes a village, and the NW Co-op village is pretty great. The bonds we created during our 6 years at the co-op are still strong today. My children and I both have made life-long friends from the people we met at NW Co-op Preschool. I really can't say enough about how wonderful this preschool is.
Both of my kids went to this awesome school, and I can honestly say they had the best start to their academic lives because of Mrs. Wilson and her play based teaching. In addition to that, life long friendships were made. It was awesome being able to participate in their education in such a unique way. My oldest just graduated high school, and still has a relationship with his preschool teacher. That is amazing. 10 out of 10 recommend. No regrets.
Both of my children attended this school and I cant say enough amazing things about the program. The hands on learning, the involvement from the families, and not to mention an amazing teacher. The was the school was the perfect foundation to set up my kids for successful futures during elementary years and beyond. We are so thankful for the experiences we had and people we've met.
