What Parents Say
Northwest Baptist Day Care Center receives overwhelmingly positive feedback from parents regarding staff care, educational activities, and child development, with ratings of 5/5 from most reviewers. However, two recent 1-star reviews express serious concerns about new administrative leadership, including significant price increases, lack of transparency regarding staffing changes, and perceived lack of compassion toward families.
Have gone for almost 3 years and have loved every caretaker, teacher, and person. They really care about your child and make an effort to provide what they need in terms of health and learning. They take the time to know your child and create a healthy environment. I would get notifications about my child, get so many cute crafts to hang up, my daughter would be so excited to go and it's a shame she's aging out as we have come to love and appreciate the staff so much. Thank you for all you all do!
I have had two children at this daycare. My first child was about two and half when we came from a four star daycare. We wanted to save money so I “stumbled” across Northwest Baptist Daycare. I love that there is always an adorable craft they work on, holiday party’s, a code to get in, and the price is great. This daycare is a home away from home for my children. These women love my children. I feel it and so do they. I am happy that have chosen NWBD for our children.
My daughters have been going here since they were 3 months and I could not imagine them going anywhere else. The staff takes the best care of my girls and I never worry about them while they are there. The director and her staff put the children first and are always are doing fun ,creative activities with the kids. I highly recommend sending them here!
My wife, son and myself all love this daycare. Our son is now four years old, and this is the only facility we have ever entrusted with his care. He has been attending Northwest daycare since he was six weeks old. They communicate with us very well concerning any events or issues with our child, and updates on his progress. I have no doubt that a large part of why he is so articulate, polite and kind is due to the love and care he receives at Northwest. Also, we all know that daycare is not cheap. But for the rate we pay at Northwest, we could not be more pleased. He will continue attending here until he begins kindergarten, and then he will attend afterschool care here. What these women do on a daily basis is not easy. I know I couldn’t do it. All of the ladies are top notch!
I have had my (now 2) year old there for a little over half a year. I had him in a larger chain daycare that was twice as big with a corporate feel & I really hit the jackpot! My son was a whole new child when I first dropped him off and picked him up. He wasn’t desperate to leave and he was excited for “school” (still is). Frequent daycare sickness is way less frequent at NWB daycare and the teachers and director, Carol, go out of their way to make me feel like my son is not just a number. For his birthday, he got a hand painted card with truck sticker packs (his favorites). Only a staff who knew my son would know to buy those. I’m always greeted with a warm welcome. I had a HORRIBLE experience at a daycare a few miles away for 3 weeks & desperately stumbled across NWB. God totally showed me that open door. Highly Recommend! They’re so different from a big daycare in that they have smaller class sizes so you kid gets more attention to his/her needs... nose wiped, playing, etc. I would walk in many times and the teacher wouldn’t see me yet and I’d see all the kids gathered around singing and reading and being excited and engaged!!
