Dropped in for a guest pass visit, it was lovely to find that there was a HEATED indoor family pool. Two toilets were clogged in the ladies room but otherwise everything was clean and orderly. There were float boards and life jackets for use. Lifeguard present. The family pool was three feet to five feet deep.
The pool is lovely, the locker rooms and showers are very clean and comfortable, and staff members are welcoming!
An Excellent Foundation for Water Confidence. The YMCA's program is exceptional for introducing young children to the water. The instructors masterfully build confidence, using a patient, play-based approach that makes learning feel safe and fun. They create a secure, encouraging environment that is perfect for hesitant beginners, effectively transforming apprehension into enjoyment.
Great variety of classes and frequency offered . Wonderful instructors and welcome atmosphere!!!
Awesome for kids, but not for their friends. This policy of only being able to bring guests on non-weekends and non holidays is bananas. Also, you can’t just pay and bring them once - you have to buy a block of five passes for $75. Oh, and they expire each year. What the poo. The facility itself is great. I love the walk in pool that is mainly shallow. The splash pad seems to be out of service more than it’s in service though. Have noticed that trend over the past few years. Honestly, cool swim area, not with the money unless you do a ton of other stuff at the Y. Or if you actually want to bring a friend or family member. Horrible policy.
