Yeah there's a friends of Bill W meeting that meet down here on Sunday nights. It's a nice place. It's an old giant huge church. You know comfortable inviting. Convenient to the number 82 Kimball home and bus at Foster and Kimball and Kimball and Berwyn and also the number 92 Foster bus. He can get off that bus at Spaulding and Foster and Kimball and foster. The number 93 California Dodge bus runs on Sundays through saturdays. It's convenient to the neighborhood.
Our daughter has had an incredible experience at NPCCP! The instructors are attentive to her specific needs and pour into her every day! Her love for art has grown so much as she’s been given so many creative opportunities. Her love for books and reading is nurtured everyday through storytime and quiet reading, she comes home singing songs from class, and she’s made great friends with her classmates. The community of parents is active and involved, creating a safe community for kids to participate in. We’re excited to enroll our son when he is old enough.
This preschool has been the perfect fit for our family for the past two years. It is a warm, welcoming community where kids learn through play. All of the preschoolers love Ms Lyndsey and Ms Jen, who really see and appreciate each child and help them to grow socially, emotionally and academically according to their needs. My daughter has thrived here and I’m so glad that this was her first school experience.
My daughter has attended NPCCP for the past two years and she's had a wonderful experience. They really do run the school cooperatively, and I love when I get to volunteer in the classroom and see my kid in her element. There are all sorts of holiday parties that caregivers are invited to attend, and the teachers take photos throughout the day so we can share in the memories. It's clear that Ms. Lyndsey and Ms. Jen love their jobs because they treat the kids with a great deal of care, kindness, and good humor. There's a big outdoor play area (and an indoor gym for bad weather) where the kids can run around, and the classroom is really intentionally assembled with lots of sunlight, plants, crafts, toys, books, and kid-sized furniture. They even have child-size bathrooms, which is a small but meaningful detail for newly potty-trained kids. I highly recommend this small but mighty school!
NPCCP has truly been one of the best things we have done for our son. He LOVES going to school and sees them as an extension of his family. Ms. Lyndsey and Ms. Jen have made an incredibly safe, play-based, learning atmosphere where the kids feel seen, safe, and heard and it has helped our son not only with learning skills, but social and emotional skills as well. I cannot recommend this school enough as well as the incredible teachers who are working so hard here. Our son is genuinely sad to leave for kindergarten, but we look forward to sending our daughter there in the future!
