We loved Little Hands, my daughter went to this school since 18 months with not much mandarin background but graduated with very good conversational mandarin which allows her to continue her mandarin education after preschool. She really enjoyed her time there and the teachers were very caring and involved. I’m glad that she had her formative years in this school. The environment was safe and very clean and I’m glad that we sent her there. The principal is also very capable in running the school. Thank you Terri and the rest of the teachers!
We couldn’t be happier with our decision to enroll our daughter at Little Hands. Before joining, she was reluctant to attend her previous daycare, but everything changed after we found Little Hands. She was so excited to go to school every day, and it is truly one of the best decisions we have ever made for her. Little Hands is a wonderful place for children. It is always very clean, the teachers are incredibly caring, and the curriculum is very well-designed. They cover so many subjects, including science, arts, math, Chinese, Spanish, English, sports, and the kids are constantly encouraged to be creative. We also love how they celebrate various cultural festivals and teach the children to respect and appreciate cultural differences. Our daughter graduated from Little Hands in the summer of 2023. Although we moved out of state after her graduation, we had the chance to visit Austin in the summer of 2024 due to my work. Ms. Terri welcomed us back and took wonderful care of our daughter for two weeks, just like before. Ms. Terri and her team of teachers are truly the best. They are deeply committed to the development and growth of the children and work hard to prepare them for the future. Little Hands is by far our best daycare and preschool center, and we will always come back to visit when we get the chance.
We love the school! When my son was attending, he looked forward to seeing the teachers and his friends everyday. Sometimes on the weekend he even asked me why he couldn’t go to the school. He left the school 3 weeks ago and still talks about how much he misses the teachers and his friends. The teachers really care for the kids. Everyone is very friendly and knows their way around the kids. The teacher to student ratio is great, much lower than what’s required by the state. It’s also one of the cleanest day cares you’ll find. The teachers sanitize the toys and the rooms everyday and a professional cleaning team comes everyday by the end of the day to clean the whole school. My son was always a little sick when he was at another day care and I thought that was just normal for kids attending day care. But I’ve noticed a significant difference since we switched to Little Hands- when I go pick him up, his clothes are much cleaner, his hands and face are clean (they really emphasize on hand-washing). I think my son was out sick for a few days once during the whole time we were there and the rest of the time he hardly even had a cough. The teachers send updates in the app through out the day (more frequent update for younger kids). Every month they send an update on what they did and learned in the previous month. The school has collaborations with soccer shot, sport all, gym bus, etc so that you can sign your kids up for extra activities if interested. I’m sure I left out some other details, we just love Little Hands and can’t say enough good things about the school!
My son recently graduated from Little Hands and we already miss the school. Ms Terri and the teachers really cares for the children. I love that they always keep us updated on the kids’ learning and activities and keep parents engage. My son was happy and he enjoyed the learning and activities they have planned. My son’s Chinese has improved since he started at Little Hands. Little Hands has given my son solid foundation to learn and grow. Most importantly, they make sure the children are safe and feel loved. I cannot wait to enroll my daughter once she is old enough to start at the school.
The best thing of the school is "wash hands"; teachers encourage kids to wash hands as many times as possible, which makes sickness/flu/virus transmission much less likely to happen. Also it is my son's favorite. He joined the daycare at 20 months and enjoyed it a lot. Ms.Li and Ms.Xu from Class A are so patient and considerate - they all stay with the school very long. My son adapted to daycare life less than a week and everyday we could see he smiles plays with his friends. Every morning, he cannot wait to sit in the car and go. I cannot be happier to enroll him (I should get him enrolled even earlier!). The school currently have a kitchen to provide very healthy lunch for kids (Teachers take care of allergy foods if any).
